Boy that's the truth! My Great Grandfather and his father had the same name..Felix. In my Grandma's Family Felix's are 6 a penny! Every branch had at least one. Well in Georgia 1850 marriage records at least 6 of them are listed marrying different women at different times. One was my GGgrandfather with 2 wives (he married his first wife's sister when she died in childbrith) the other was my Ggrandfather with one wife..The rest..cousins or strangers.
Anyway One dufus researcher decided my G Gpa was married at least 5 times to 2 sets of sisters and my Ggrandmother. try as I would I could not make her understand that the first two sisters could have been GGpa's mothers and the other two WERE his Mother and aunt! besides this was in Ga. and Great Gpa and his wife lived in Tampa for most of their adult lives. So how did he raise a herd of kids with several other wives and have 9 of his own and a citrus groves and herd of cows in Tampa. According to Grandma, he never missed a meal or Church service This was pre plane or car! he rode a horse or Ox cart! It's still wrong on her site...what a PITA!
