Default Ahhh, Xmas is Over...What's your fav goodie?

As nice as it is, I'm always also relieved when it's over...it's just too tiring (especially when the family can't seem to get through one without some sort of disagreement...sheesh).

My favorite goodie is a new electric can opener with a manual jar opener and a plastic packaging cutter...much needed since the arthritis in my hands can be bad at times.

Hope everyone had a pleasant day...now on to New Year's Eve!!!

My favorite is my I-Pod. It's so nice to listen to my books when I am doing things around the house! I looked at those armbands for I-Pod and just refused to pay the price. We went into a radio Shack for a battery for my phone and saw a whole box of I pod things..a sock thingie to hold your I-Pod, extra ear pods, and an arm band..all for 7.99! LOL My grandson got the sock thingy, he wants to carry his phone and his sony mp3 player in it. I got the arm band.

My favorite new thing this year for Christmas is my new glass & metal L shaped desk with my new comfy chair. My old one was falling apart, trust me.

My favorite was a new sheet set, 660 thread count! Feels absolutely heavenly!
Also a metal sculpture/wall hanging lizard with dark green leaves for scales. He is hanging over the mantel now. He is much cooler than he sounds.

    Let's see:

There is my new printer---love it.

Then there is the digital picture frame---love it too.

Then there is all the odds and ends from my favorite store Staples.
In amidst all the odds and ends, is a little flashlight that is meant to replace the one on the computer table that is going bad.
I look at it though and think---what a great mod this would make.

The ones my daughter got for me. Our funds were very tight this year so we had to get creative. She got me a mug with a cartoon of a girl wearing a helmet that says "daredevil" - appropriate since it reminded of her of the time I was in a demolition derby and won

Second favorite was a picture she drew, scanned and then printed and put in a frame.

It's fun hearing what everyone loves. But it has made me think that an electric can opener (mine, first post) is rather "pathetic." LOL

One year I got wood working stuff..not very sexy to anyone else! But it allowed me to make canes in any color I wanted..I need them when my knee goes south.
