Default Some of the best of the best DIY threads and posts!

Jules, I need to go find Kate's thread on mixing flavors, she has a base that is used for all the flavors/ That way it cuts down on time and makes the outcome reproducable..that word looks wrong..oh well.
here are some GREAT threads and links for DIY. These are all found in DIY e-liquids in the Tips and Tricks section. There are more like this but these have a lot of recipes.

Spikey is perfecting an RY4..she added marshmallow and peanut butter..I knew there were secret ingrediants!

This is our Miss Kate's famous formula in both Percentage and translated to drops by Jaaxx..bless his mathmatical little soul!
These are for tester's. (1ml)...to make a bottle just put a zero behind the drop numbers..I think that makes 10ml..I repeat THINK!

Kate's small batch recipe (as posted above) is
    10% water
    10% Flavoring
    20% Commercial E-Liquid
    60% VG

That equates to (for a 1ml sample)
    2 drops Water
    2 drops Flavoring
    4 drops E-Liquid
    12 drops VG

Here's a great tool for calculating mixture quantities from Jaaxx - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...omatic.xls.zip You need to save the file and then unzip

Not only is this brilliant..in the American meaning of that word and the British..Genius and Fabulous! It is also fun to play with! Don't save changes when you are done unless you really like that one formula. If you save just open a new hack-o-matic. There is another formula calulater here on the board, but for the life of me I can't find it! If you see it, post it along with the rest of this good stuff.

    Thanks MaryKay,

That gave some great ideas, now I just have to get brave.

I ordered a bunch of capella's from that sale last week, have some flavourart from Liberty flight, and some lorann's that came in my kit. Also have 60ml and 100ml unflavored.

I wanna make my own stronger french toast and chocolate brownie.

There are some really good recipes in those first two threads as well as in the fun fabulous, frightening flavor thread. You just have to sift thru them.

Cool, a new mixing thread. I really need to get back to it. I haven't mixed a new flavor in ages. MK, remember back a few months ago I was trying every flavor combo I could come up with, lol I've been lazy and letting Puresmoker and My Freedom Smokes do my mixing for me. I actually have unopened bottles of flavoring.

Any ideas on how to use my creme de menthe?

Hi everyone, I just joined the group. I've never actually mixed e liquid but I was a bartender.. how about some chocolate or cocoa flavor with the cream de menthe? and I wonder if there's anything 'cream' flavoured.. mix together and you have a grasshopper.

I use Lorann's cream de menthe with chocolate e-liquid..it's a very passable thin mint!
Yes, most flavorings and e-liquids do make a cream flavor..be sparing with it, it has an odd taste, like scorched or turned milk (at least to me).
Please be careful about using real liquor, it has sugar in it and sugar is an atty killer. Clear liquor like vodka can be used as a thinner if you only use a few drops.

Hi Jules! Post me a recipe or 6!

My mom used to make grasshoppers when her friends came over for sunday afternoon cards. I loved getting little sips here and there.

    HV French Toast

    Nicotine in PG 60mg

    VG no Nicotine 2.50ml (75 drops) 25%
    Flavoring 2.50ml (75 drops) 25%
    Capella's French Toast 2.3ml (68 drops) 90.1%
    FlavourArt Maple Syrup .2ml (7 drops) 9.0%
    Splendex .0ml (1 drop) 0.9%

    -------------------------------------------------------------
    Total 2.5ml (75 drops) 100%

    HV Chocolate Brownie

    Nicotine in PG 60mg
    Target Nic 30mg
    Amount to be made: 10ml
Flavor 25% (My taste buds are dead, I like it strong and sweet.)

    PG with Nicotine 5.00ml (150 drops) 50%
    VG no Nicotine 2.50ml (75 drops) 25%
    Flavoring 2.50ml (75 drops) 25%
