Neat! My husband & his siblings were army brats. My own dad got outta that just before he hooked up with my mom...sorry, I'm not trying to hijack the thread that I started!
I keep telling you people that in this little corner of ECF..we can do as we like within reason..no worries about hijacking, spelling or weirdness! besides I have always believed the best threads are the ones that make a right turn off into the unknown!
Bug..Good luck with your move! I know you will love the adventure. As a A.F. wife who got to see nothing more exotic then Wyoming..I envy you.
ha ha! I've read so many other threads where people get MAD about a thread being hijacked and going waaaay in the other direction.I'd find it annoying sometimes myself when I was trying to find out everything I could about e-cigs and stumple upon some information that gets lost in another conversation.
Well, on that note--husband built a flashlight mod! i dropped my chuck, broke it, started smoking while I waited on repairs & a 2nd Chuck to come in. Husband built mod to help me---he's interested in using it to quit smoking!!! I may not have the stinky house on the block any more yeeeeehhhhh!
ps--i quit smoking already within 1 day of having my chuck back go me!
Wow! You have a talented hubby! Mine still can't tape a tv program! (and we owned a Video store for years!) Glad you have something to vape during the wait for the replacement Chuck.
As for the derailed threads. If the topic is an important one, and needs to stay on track, yeah..let's not derail it. But as we are waiting for an answer about vaping while on the pill....we can chat a bit while we wait.![]()
Oh, he's always been good at tinkering with stuff, figuring out how stuff works. He's a maintainence man--handy at lowering repair bills on home ownership--but going to night school for welding.
We compliment each other because I stink at that kinda thing. I'm better at organizing, computer stuff, money stuff, getting stains out of strangers clothes....
ha ha! you learn a LOT about people as a dry cleaner. yeah, didn't need to know that
Do you have insurance? If so you may have an "on call RN" for questions. Look in your ins info (assuming you have ins...I don't lol) and see if you do. Just a thought.
Hey that's not a bad idea--our local hospital has that & anyone can call with or without ins. I bet a pharmacist might know too. I may do that later today if it doesn't slip my mind
We all may have to chip in for some of that ginko stuff for Gem!

aarrrgggghhhhh! I totally forgot until i read my email & saw a reply to this thread! I know I will forget today--have tons to do after work. I'll try to call a nurse during work on my cell (if i don't forget!) I also posted this question in the health forum...haven't checked it but once. yep, i forgot
I'm only 28 and forgetful! There's just so much to do! i leave little notes everywhere to remind myself to do things. Everyone laughs at me for it--but what works, works
