Here's the "Plan" for the Forum!

I have been trying to come up with a "best of both worlds" idea and Smokey Joe helped me out. What we are going to do is to have this forum remain open as requested by you all..well most of you, members or not. lol.
As it has been said time and again, we need to be able to find the forum and get some ideas for help. But as a bonus, we will also have a password protected area for members only. I will send all you passwords via P.M. Once Joe has the time to create the area or tell me what I should do.

As new members join and post, if they are being contributing members
then they get the password. If not, they can continue to post in the open forum and be subject to edits or reports. Some post once, some join and never post. We will wait to see what they do before issuing a password.
Not sure how mods work in password protected areas, but since one of them is a member in very good standing, we do have plenty of help. (I don't think Mods need a password though)

I am concerned for our members being harassed or mocked. I am not trying to close/limit membership in any area, all will be welcome in either area as long as civility is used and sarcasm isn't.

O.K. just to make myself clear..every member here now and up to a couple of days before we open the new area will recieve a password! After that, we will wait..let's say 5 posts, to see if they get the password. I can change the password at any point if someone gets out of hand or breaks in and re issue..per Smokey Joe.

I don't forsee problems as this is a great group. I am proud to be a member.
