The charger is "smart" and knows that battery is toast. That is WAY too low for a lithium cell. If it's new contact the vendor and ask for a refund / exchange. DO NOT TRY ANY MONKEY BUSINESS AND CHARGE IT. Unless you are wanting to possibly cause a small explosion and/or fire. ©DROID/Tapatalk2™
