Can't stop spending.

I can't stop. I already bought more stuff. Cartomizers this time, plus a syringe, some smaller empty bottles (easier for transport when it's time to hit the road), and an extra USB charger for the eGo. I also bought a 5ml sampler of RY4, since it's gotten some raves. 20% off at Liberty Flights, so my whole order came to around $30, including shipping. ENOUGH! I'm going to hide all my credit cards.

I tried the Swedish Fish. It tastes like cough medicine to me. And everything I vaped for the next 24 hours also tasted like cough medicine. Haven't tried the Green Tea yet, I think I'll let it steep for a while.

I tried Aquaclear for cart filler again and continue to be disappointed in it (so I'll stop using it now). Floods my atomizer every time. Fluval works pretty well, maybe I'll stick to that.

Tonight I gave all my atomizers a bath. This weekend I'll clean out all my carts and filler material again (except the Aquaclear, I'm tossing that). Lots of maintenance. It really does turn into quite the hobby, doesn't it?

It is amazing how the maintenance bits of vaping don't seem to be so much of a chore! I have not found myself turned off a bit by the seemingly endless tasks to keep myself and the family vaping.

I have tried the blue foam... are the Aquaclear and Fluval two different types of foam?

Aquaclear appears to me to be exactly the same as the blue foam, only it's white. I guess it's more porous or something, because each time I try it my atomizer floods, and I've tried cutting it to different sizes. I don't have such a hard time with the blue foam. Fluval is blue, but a different type of material. Hard to describe, but it's "hairier" than the foam, and its properties are closer to polyfill. What's referred to on the forums as "blue foam" has an almost spongey appearance.

I am not turned off by my maintenance chores either, I guess I see them as more like rituals. The nightly filling of the carts for work the next day, the weekly atomizer cleaning, the regular replacement of cartridge filler... everything starts to feel like "tradition" rather than a chore.

When I compare to the cleaning routine of analogs it's so much easier. With analogs I had to empty and wash ashtrays - which I kept outside and often got really soggy and smelly. Continually clean the interior of my van (where I smoked the most) with special deodorizing shampoos. Wash hair and hands all the time (especially hands before meetings). Carry breath spray, scented hand creams and scented body spray - in both purse and car. Deodorize near the doorways where I smoked (cause guests never liked the smell). Recycle cigarette packages. Purchase new lighters. Clean spilled tobacco out of the bottom of my purse and ash from the top of my dash. Wash or dry clean coats, jackets and sweaters. It was an endless cycle of cleaning.

Now I just wipe atty threads, rinse out cartridges, fill and charge. It's pretty simple and easy.

Addicted to vaping! 510 starter kit has taken me on a long road of shopping. PCCs, passthroughs, more liquids, mega batteries and on and on. AND I'm so afraid they'll make them illegal that I've been stockpiling. I have a spreadsheet now so I know when I'll come out even vs. analogs. I think around 2014. Gotta love it. Am totally with Kanadiankat - no more smelly me. I thank the universe for e cig forum.

I am pretty much in the same boat. I have slowed down my spending some, but it's like I had to get into every area of vaping and I hope I've explored enough lol. I have a juice box, and the new juice feeder mod from Super T, and I bought E2 cartomizers for some unknown reason today. I think I am slightly addicted to getting packages in the mail at this point!

As far as juices go, PureVapes in the Suppliers Forum has some great juices for reasonable prices. Backwoods Brew also comes highly recommended though I have not tried them. The prices are not near as high as EcoPure, and they are said to have excellent tobacco flavors. Personally I can't try them out because I bought 125ml of unflavored DIY nic juice and spent about 70 bucks on flavorings and measuring equipment so it's DIY or die for me at this point lol.

As far as the cleaning rituals and so forth I kind of enjoy it, but my house is full of parts and pieces on paper towels at this point. I should have bought a tackle box by now, but it seems that vaping has contributed to a loss of rationality when it comes to spending money! I agree with the others who have commented about not smelling and not having to clean up ash. I am really grateful for that :)
