ECF or Gotvapes , deleteing , negative vendor posts

I lodged a negative vendor post about Gotvapes on 9/02/12 in regards to one of their defective products , shorting out two of my "new" PV's I tried sending a support ticket , and it was turned over to "Max" I guess their shell answer man . Anyway , first he implied incompetence on my part , to which I informed him , that I had been vaping for nearly two years , and making wicks/coils for nearly a year . Last word from Daniel , was that they would replace the bad atty , when back in stock . Then said they can't be responsible for "supposed" damage that one of their items caused . Really ??? Well then I check this morning , and the post isn't just locked . It's completely gone , never happened . Unbelievable . If a mod from ECF , did this , shame on you . If the vendor themselves have this power , then shame on whom ever gave them that power . Why bother having a place to complain about bad customer service , if your post just gets deleted ??? Like this blog , probably will .

I have seen a number of people upset with Gotvapes, not just ECF but also in other forums and on some utube videos. I wanted to order some Phoenix clearos from them but after seeing numerous unflattering comments of GV, I went to AltSmoke.
Actually, a lady who did a review of the GV Phoenix clearos for GV actually sent me a pm on utube and suggested that I go to AltSmoke for them instead of GV. So I did and the clearos work great(great flavor and no leaks so far). It seems that GV needs to improve their way of doing business before they end up losing all their businsess. I would love to order some of their items but I wont until I see things change. And as far as your post from here disappearing, are you sure it posted? I think that ECF is not that way, at least I sure hope not! I have seen many unfavorable reviews of various companies here that ECF did not remove. So if your post was removed, it was probably in error I would think otherwise all the negative reviews would either be prohibited or else we would not be seeing them. Maybe you could contact an ECF administrator and inquire about it or try to post the review again in case there was an error. I'm not trying to defend ECF, btw, I am just trying to help you figure out what may have happened and ease your mind about it. ;) Hope you get it straightened out tho

I don't know... I've been in conversation with nearly all of the GV associates, and the supplier himself... They are all very nice and respectful people.. If something actually destroyed your devices, maybe find out who actually manufactures the item and take it up with them... no vendor can be held liable for damage caused by something that was received defective. You have to remember that most vendors aren't the manufacturers, or even the creators/patent-holders on these items, they just sell them...

Let me put it plainly... If you were a gas station owner, and someone came to your gas station and filled up, then an hour later their engine seized, would you feel that it was your duty to compensate that person for the problem? Perhaps that person filled up with Diesel instead of unleaded... frankly, as the gas station owner, it's simply not your problem, you don't have any liability...

In the world of IT we stand by this firmly: you can't fix user error...

Thanks for your opinion , but unless you know the whole story , it's best to keep your opinion to yourself . And you must work for GV's , because you sound just like them . And , personally , if a vendor sells something that is faulty , they should stand behind it . If not , then don't sell them .
