Good News For Blind People, All Cartomizer Users, & Progress Report!

Two Wonderful Things Have Come To Pass!

Vapian, one of ECF's very own Brilliant Mind Owners, has been nice enough to instruct his to invent The CartomizerFillinator especially for people with no vision!

It's still being developed, read all about it in the thread linked above, but if you are newly blind or have low vision, and /or shaky hands or compromised nerves in your fingers, please do not try to make one yourself!

Seize someone who has had no vision for a long time, or someone with normal vision (and steady hands and healthy finger nerves, duh) and have them make you one.

Our fingers do have a "sharp" sense, just like they have "hot" and "cold" ones, but it lies dormant in people with sharp eyes (pause for groan) and even after vision services are discontinued, it takes a while to crank up enough to make it safe to use an Xacto knife close to your fingers.

Another thing you should know about the CartomizerFillinator, especially if you are just beginning your transition - it's designed for people who have already learned which juice they like enough to buy a big bottle of it - oh, just go read the thread and say THANK YOU to Vapian!

The other Wonderful Thing is one of those e-cigarette-adjacent items that should have always existed - Colory Cartomizer Hats!

The Smokeless Image company will send you a nice little bag of them for just a few dollars.

This basically supercedes everything I said about organizing your different flavors of cartomizers.

Forget the label-makers and the little slips of paper and Scotch tape. If you have enough vision left to distinguish one color from another, you can put all that in a drawer and just use yourColory Cartomizer Hats.

Who knows why it took this long for this particular light bulb to appear over somebody's head, but it finally did, so Happy Dance and YAY!

(Smokeless Image also sells KR808d-1s, but they are all the modern kind and they do NOT have a light-up jewel on the end, so they are best suited for insecure males).

Colory Cartomizer Hats was an item on my list of Things They Ought To Make But Don't.

Hmmm. Do you think the Smokeless Image operatives saw it? Do they read this blog?

Just in case, I'm going to wave at them and say THANK YOU! And so should you!

In Other News, this was a very momentous week for me!

It gives me great pleasure to quote from post 1000 of my very first thread here on ECF:

...My Progress Report:

There have been at least 8, maybe 10, 24-hour periods in the past month during which I smoked under a pack of Marlboros.

This week, Smart Shaman expressed her delight and says that already there are Documented and Quantitative Improvements in all kinds of things!

Also, this week I discovered that I now have 100 friends! That's kind of confusing, because I feel like I have 10,000!

I will spare you the gushing effusion that you know is in my heart.

Thanks to all of my ECF sisters and brothers for giving me such a fabulous Internet Home, and - don't pretend you didn't know this was coming - Thanks for clicking "pet this blog" or whatever it is that you do to make it win "Best Blog."

I'm not even going to make a platypus face and try to pretend I'm not tickled plumb to Tambolaka!

My condom runneth over!

CartomizerFillinator: Pretty nifty, made one and it works well. At the point where I filled a big pill bottle with liquid, I decided to forgo the syringe part and just drop a few cartos (with no labels on them) in the bottle and let them soak all day. Just fish'um out, wipe, blow excess liquid back into the bottle through from both ends of the carto (take turns blowing through each end...trying through both ends at once could lead to problems), wipe them again.

Colory Cartomizer Hats: Does this mean my sticky color dots are now obsolete?

Things They Ought To Make But Don't: I can't wait to read that blog ;)

Ooo, an affection blog would be loads of fun ;)

Credo, does that mean you've made a Syphonator? Er, perhaps more of a Capillarynator. Thanks for all the good reads, lolady.

I made a couple, just used a nylon zip tie for one, and a twisty bread tie for the other to hold the trimmed condom on it. I can flush out a carto in 60 seconds. I use 97% iso alcohol, and it dries much faster than water. I am in the Midwest USA, with the terrible heat/humidity, iso alcohol also has the advantage that it won't mold.
