Just frustrated by the half truths, lies and sheeple

I truly do feel sorry for those that think that our government has our best interest in mind and actually do care for our health. We are taking more money out of their pockets than what it is costing them to spread all these half truths. :( University's are partially funded by our government and by taking such funding they are obliged to tow the line.

On top of that, The bread and butter for the 24/7 news outlets is doom and gloom. We now have something that has the potential to end smoking and all we hear from the talking heads is something in the flavoring MAY, I can't stress the word MAY enough, cause problems. Each time this subject comes up there are those that think just because they read it or some news outlet said it, it has to be true.

Please do your own research. It is all right there at your fingertips. It is right here in the testimonies of folks that have been vaping for years. Some since these first became available. Read about how much better they feel. Read about how their Doctors are amazed at how well they are doing now, even after 20, 30, 40 years of smoking before they started this life saving journey.

I know those that believe every article put out by those with an agenda will not read this and see that they have been deceived but I hope they will at least consider that our government, big tobacco and big pharmacy are losing money by the truck load and they are not the least bit happy about it.

I wish writing this made me feel better but sadly, it didn't. We are fighting an uphill battle and really don't seem to be making a lot of progress in the right direction. There are so many folks that truly do want the government to come in and take care of them. They really do seem to think a bunch of folks in Washington know what is best for them. So very frustrating

You are not alone. It's a bit telling when we Australians are actually celebrating the first piece of positive vaping TV coverage. It was a snippet of seconds but it was there. Sadly the poll attached to the current affairs show resulted in 50% in favour of ecigs, and the other 50% evenly split between ban them and don't know.

our only saving grace is that Australian regulators take some notice of the UK outcomes.

Hang in there and stay positive. This is a time of butterfly effects. Change one persons opinion and you ultimately change hundreds.

Thank you Chris. I would celebrate even a snippet of positive TV coverage. It's fantastic that you heard some.

There are so many new folks joining this forum that have been brainwashed by those that don't have their best interest at heart and fighting that is just so very frustrating. Brainwashed may be to strong a word but it is the best I have at this point. :(

Just a personal insight.... I became disillusioned with the lack of accurate information quite a while ago and I try to spend my energy where I feel it is of the biggest benefit. That is helping new vapers. I am prolific on the Aussie forum, I give a lot of gear away and talk sensible vaping when I get the opportunity. My militant days are over but by playing my part I feel as though I am making a direct difference. For me the frustration is around my rights as an adult to choose my recreational pursuits (this is bigger than just vaping) and to determine my own risk reward decisions.

It's easy to become so frustrated that you waste energy that you have a limited supply of, breathe deeply and talk to the next new vaper or smoker looking to quit. You have a lot of like minded folks here that do just that......... One vaper at a time.
