Aunt Jenny's Cabbage Rolls:
1 Cup cooked Rice
1 lb. hamburger
1 lb. pork sausage
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp.
salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
1 can tomato soup
1 can tomato sauce
1 large head cabbage
Mix beef, sausage, rice, onion, eggs,
salt, & pepper.
Boil cabbage head about 10 minutes until leaves can be separated and rolled.
Roll meat mixture into cabbage leaves, layer cabbage rolls in dutch oven pan.
Mix soup, sauce, and 1/2 cup water, pour over rolls.
Cover and cook at 325 for 2 hours, uncover last half hour.
Serves? A LOT!
