My first 3 years

Three years ago, I purchased my first eCig, a very bad-tasting Cig2O . The next was a Metro, not quite as bad but bad. Then, the three piece 510, which was a major pain because it required constant probing, fluffing and dripping.

Back to the ECF for a lot more reading. I did not want to give up on eCigs.

Now comes the part where I admit to a failure of clear reasoning . . . If they are rated #1, they must be really good. . . . Right? Wrong!! And if that weren’t bad enough, they were on sale so decided to stock up. (Dummy, you haven’t even tried them yet.) Over $200 down the drain on V2. I couldn’t stand the taste of any of the twelve flavors. To me, they all tasted like a mix of curry, oregano and ginger in varying amounts.

The KR808, except for battery life, I liked. So, with the help of ECF, I started mixing my own juice and using blank 808 cartomizers. The DIY has been a rewarding adventure and now, I must admit, is a hobby.

Tired of fighting with the 808 batteries, I went back to ECF for further education. I learned a little about how things like Ph, Ohms, Watts, mAh and Viscosity affected me and my PV. I purchased an eGo-T kit, an eGo-C, and then the eGo-C Twist. These all worked well enough but I wanted Perfection. So I bought two Johnson Creek VEA kits (okay, but not that impressed). Frustration began to set in. A perfect PV is out there and I couldn’t find it. Then, Vamo V2. A good PV but made of soft metal; the threads didn’t last. Finally, the itaste MVP from Innokin is everything I need in a PV, although it is a little heavy. The MPV came with their iclear 16 tank, which works as well as any other I have tried. Perfect? No, but I do not believe a perfect PV exists.

I wasted lot of money on juice, tanks and PVs that end up in the drawer or in the trash. In three years, I have spent over $4000 on batteries, tanks, cartos and juice. Most of which was unnecessary.
The shopping thing; I am cured. My theory is, first we must realize that we are looking for a device capable of delivering the same nicotine hit as a cigarette and that simply does not exist. Second, DIY is the answer to the juice problem (30ml - $2.40).

In the time it takes to place an order for that latest and greatest mod, I can mix up 40ml of great tasting juice.

Yes, I will always have a backup for my backup and 200ml of juice on hand but I have quit filling boxes with vapejunk.
