re edit Blog 2 (read this one only)

well I noticed my most of my text got cutoff somehow so here I go again:

Hi,
The reason I switched to vaping is because of FSC ciggerettes. I havn't gotten my PV yet but I know I will quit ciggerettes simply because I am unable to smoke them.

I live in NJ. and I smoke about 6-8 packs of Marlboro Medium 100's a week. About a year ago I bought my usual 8 packs at once when I went grocery shopping for the week. 3 days in I started felling sick. The ciggs would make me cough a whole lot, I had a sore throught, my chest really hurt, I felt headachey, and my cigg would ash funny like alot of ashes that stayed floating in the air.

So I googled it, I belive the search term was bad marlboros in NJ and the first result was an explanation on what FSC was. I looked at my packs and some said FSC next to the barcode, others didn't.

I returned the FSC ones and explained to the store clerk what happened. She had no idea what I was talking about.

A week later the grocery store was FSC only on all brands. The drug store down the street had non FSC's though. I belive they still had boatloads because they charge 2 dollars more a pack than the grocery store so noone ever bought from them. For about 3 months I bought non FSC's only from that drug store. Then there supply started to dwindle. Sometimes I was working with the cashier 20-25 mins going through the different brands and checking for the FSC code. She still had no idea what my problem was and then had to start dealing with her manager to do the job. 7 days later It became impossible to find a non FSC cigg in new jersey.

The biggist thing that ticked me off during this time was other smokers. I would ask them what they thought about FSC and they would look at me strange, they never heard of it, and their ciggs weren't bothering them cept when they went out. I was so jealous.

I learned that PA still had non FSC's. I would take the train to philly, jump off at market street, run into the closest drug store, and buy like 20 loose packs of marlboros. (Loose in a bag it looked like a very large amount even though it was 2 cartons) Then run back to the train. There was only 15 mins between trains and the next one was 1 hour 40 mins later. So this went on for about 3 months untill the ban on non FSC's went into effect in PA as well.

Finally I found a website (carlina cartons) that specifically touted itself as being able to sell non FSC's through the mail. Everyone said I would get in trouble for doing this as I was not paying my states sales tax or whatever. The positive is that broken down after shippign I was only paying 4.60 a pack and that was a good deal for many months until....

Marlboro said they will stop making any non FSC smokes in the USA on Nov 14th 2009. Quickly the non FSC cigg sites dried up. I bought the last 12 cartons in existance.

Carolina cartons sent me an email a few months back showcasing the smoke anywhere ecigg. I thought to myself "well when I definatly can't get a non FSC anywhere then I will see if the technology has advanced so I can get a real good ecigg as I thought the idea was pretty cool.
