Got my first mod today, an eleaf Pico 75w w/Melo 3 tank.
Used VW at first with 0.3 ohm coil that came with it and found that 35 watts gave a good hit MTL AF at/near minimum. Very nice. Not a fan of DL in VW with this setup.
Just put in a TC coil and found 460F with 75 watt ramp gives a great cool DL hit with AF very open. Not so much with MTL with any AF setting but again this isn't a MTL tank. It has HUGE VAPOR production, much more so than VW for me. Could be that I can hit it longer, which I can but I don't believe that's the only reason. Also a tad noisy. With amount of cloud production and AF no way stealthly. Nic dosage seems less but hard to say since I've been vaping a lot today but makes since if I'm using less juice in TC mode.
Flavor is a bit more in VW and I presume that's because of the temperature going higher with a warmer vapor.
I may have discovered I prefer DL.
Need to see how other juices perform and make decision on which MTL tank and whether an RTA or stick with prebuilt atty heads and/or RBA. Um, I see maybe 2 MTL tanks in the near future. However, I have no issues with Melo 3 and DL.
Also found 1 thing firmware 1.03 has that 1.00 didn't, a SMART setting which supposedly remembers tank swaps and readjusts all setting for that tank (actually the coil in the tank). Haven't used it though and would still always check it to insure it did correctly but could be a time saver swapping tanks/coils.
Melo 3, happy with everything about it but would definitely prefer a fill system without removing the top.
