WTA alkaloid profiles

Although one could sort-of have a nicotine-free WTA, it would no longer be WTA !

Only a small fraction of the alkaloids in tobacco make it into the body when smoking; a lot is just combusted as it can't vaporise/escape from the matrix. The profile of alkaloids in smoke will be somewhat different from that of the tobacco itself (and also between different types of tobacco) as each alkaloid will have a somewhat different boiling point and strength of salt bond, particle size to escpe the matrix of the leaf, likelihod to ignite, etc.

A couple of years back I suggested that WTA might well have a profile that is more favored to (some of) the other alkaloids moreso than nicotine compared to that obtained from smoking (this isn't confirmed but feedback supports it). However, that is a good thing luckily as it becomes a 'super-vape' - for those that appreciate/need those other alkaloids, the effects would be better than those from smoking. And one can easily adjust what one can grossly call the stimulating / relaxing balance by mixing with nicotine-only e-liquid in whatever proportion(s) one prefers.

Hence just 1/4 WTA might work well if nicotine-only liquids had 'something missing' but not this was not such a strong feeling. One can also consider using a lighter WTA blend during the daytime, as MikenGA says above.

That one vapes less with WTA is down to two facets of the same biochemistry : it creates satiation (that is more 'balanced'), and that lasts longer. Some of the other alkaloids have a half-life of greaer duration in the body, and part of their effect is also to maintain the effects of the nicotine.
