Let me start off with saying, I should have come to ECF and did some review work BEFORE making ANY purchases!!!! Last week on Friday my BF called and mentioned he would like to get me an "e-cigg" for Christmas. I'm a 1.5 PPD smoker for 20 years, and I've tried everything to quit, only to turn into a complete raging ..... each time. So humbly I agreed, but then immediately went to Google to see which one I wanted. Checked out a couple, found the Blu and was hooked by their savy promoting. Wow! Classy, healthier, and I can smoke anywhere. Sold! No, really, I bought it myself right then and there. Then I decided to do more research and found ECF. ..... I bought the wrong damn one!!!! Needless to say, three hours later I purchased the Joye 510. There, that's better.
So Monday rolls around and I receive my Joye 510 in the mail. No Blu yet, but I did sell it to my friend who is a VERY light smoker and will do well with the Blu. I open it up and find I have to charge the batteries for 8 freaking hours before use. Ugh! I plug in the charger and 1st battery and wait. For about an hour. Then I look at the backup battery and say "What the hell, I'll just try it for a hit or two." First primer puff or two, then drag. "Huh, not bad." So begins my vaping journey.
I decided right then and there that I could actually do this and finally quit the analogs without killing everyone, or stabbing toothpicks in their eyeballs if they even looked at me. I had one more analog cigg then my first battery was fully charged. There was no looking back.
Day two, I wasn't a smart first timer from the get go and didn't order any juice with my starter kit, so all I had to go on was my 5 prefilled tobacco flavored carts that came with the kit. By Tuesday afternoon they were gone. ..... Luckily I ordered the starter juice kit from Johnson Creek on Saturday. Maybe it will be in the mailbox when I get home...
Nothing from JC, but the Blu starter kit was there. Well, at least I can use this until I get my JC juices. I'll start with the vanilla. OMG!!!!! This is sooooo good! Rich and creamy and taste like warm vanilla ice cream. I'm in heaven. And, ^%$# the tobacco juices, let me try some good ..... So I then order 6 different flavors from Mad Vapes. Sampler sized first, as I learned from ECF untill I find the ones I like. I can't remember all of them, but I know one is cheesecake, and I can't wait to try that one!!!!! The best thing happened today... I was telling my boss about my new PV and all the benefits of quitting smoking this way AND SHE TOLD ME I COULD VAPE IN THERE!!!!! I work in a hospital and never thought this would turn out so well. Of course, I can't do it in front of the patients or Doctors, but that's fine with me!!!!
Day three:
JC juice kit arrives and I try the vanilla first off. Not as good as the Blu, but maybe that's because I'm filling my own cart and not using the prefilled kind. Still better than the tobacco flavored though. Today I'm noticing that I can smell way better. My car smells like a damn ashtray. When did that happen?
) Later that night I decide to try the Artic Mint flavor from JC, since I used to smoke menthols I thought I might like it. The first hit was awesome, BUT 3-4 minutes into it my atty quit. I won't be using that juice again. Ugh. Luckily my starter kit came with two.... back to the vanilla. My new favorite thing...vaping in bed. Pure bliss.
