yes it does. it goes into a 'cleaning' mode where it fires automatically.

the easy fix for this is, watch the puff counter. before it gets to 999 click the fire button 3 quick times to put the MVP into 'off' mode. then click the button 3 quick times to turn it back on. this resets the puff counter to 0. then vape away.

i usually turn it off and on when the puff counter gets to 500 or so. that way i do not forget. it only took it firing in 'clean' mode one time for me to remember to clear that puff counter. hehe

also, make sure the little switch on the bottom is in OFF position when you are vaping. the only time that switch should be slid to ON is when you have a cell phone etc charging from the MVP battery.

i have 3 of them. I LUV DEM haha

all of my other mods have taken the back seat since i ordered one..and then 2 more hehe i then bought my daughters and their hubbies one. this thing hits like a monster no matter what i put on it and not having to charge the battery for 2 or 3 days = one happy vaping lady
