I now have been vaping the Iatty at 4ohms with 2-CR123A bats.
the vapor is strong, but... the flavor is weak. Compared to the same configuration only with the UFS and GGTS at 6 volts, there is no comparrison.
I think I know why. The Iatty is very similar to the Tank Mod. You have the ceramic pot where you have the bound wire and wick in the middle with the wick ends at either end sticking out to get the juice and bring it to the middle.
I never thought that Tank Mods met the flavor of the GGTS. And of the 2, vapor production or flavor, I will take flavor 1st anytime.
I feel so good that I have overcome how to make this work, but now I will have to experiment with different "Ohms" to see if flavor is made better by lower than 4ohms which is what I have now.
Even the Nhaler.com "Ato-Miser" which is similar tastes better and I think I know why there too. Drew's item does not have the ceramic pot. What you are doing is putting either end onto a screw that is attached to the metal bottom. You are wrapping the wire and wick and leaving it just there without putting it into a ceramic pot. I think it is this ceramic pot that takes away some of the flavor.
I recently have gotten into debridging the atty. It came out of not enjoying the flavor of older attys that maintained the flavor of the old juice. Once you take the "Mesh" and "Bridge" off, you can then drip new flavor juice directly into the pot and it makes for great flavor.
I am not sure that flavor is most important to Imeo. I have not confirmed this with him, but I hear he uses no flavor PG or VG just to insure that the item works. If this is the case, then his concern is not about flavor.
I wonder if any study has been done for vapers as to which is most important.
I would like to know how my friends are thinking: is the vapor the most important and if you get lots of vapor, does the flavor not matter.
This is why I mostly don't vape VG. I feel it makes much more vapor than PG, but I also think that the flavor is way weaker.
Oh well, I still am happy that without major help, I was able to get this Iatty going. Good luck to al who get it.
