Review: Torque56, Halo, Propriatary PG/VG ratio, 6mg nic

Vaped on a 78mm smoov cigalike with one of Halo's own low resistance cartomizers. Results with more sophisticated setups will vary.

Packaging: arrived in Halo's tobacco Sampler Tin-- that's a round tin with foam inside supporting 6 7-ml bottles with dropper tips. The labeling has all the relevant information, and the tin is useful for storing the juices that came with it, or other supplies. Very professionally packaged.

Taste:
To me, this juice replicated not only the good things about analogs, but some of the bad as well. It's got a strong tobacco flavor-- not nuanced, but very pronounced. It's more bitter and less refined than the Prime15. The throat it is the strongest of all the Halo Tobaccos at 0.6% nic, and I'd assume this trend would persist at higher concentrations. In fact, to me, the throat hit is really all it has to recommend it, otherwise I find it the least interesting of Halo's tobacco sampler.

Presentation: 9/10
Vapor: 10/10
Flavor: 7/10
Throat Hit: 8/10 (especially for a low nic tobacco!)
Overall: 7.5/10.

They say this is a real "unfiltered tobacco taste", which is clearly meant to imitate American cigarettes like Marlboro Reds and Lucky Strikes. Never having smoked strong analogs, I can't speak to that, but it's certainly the vaping equivalent of what I'd expect a strong cigarette to taste like. So, if that's what you want, go for it. It's definitely not to my taste, though, and it's not something I'll likely buy again.
