Yesterday evening I ordered 30ml of 25mg/ml strength unflavored from wholecig - it will be my first taste of this awesome product. Excited, I am impatient for it to arrive, feel like a little kid greedily anticipating Christmas mornings' loot. Been relapsing w/cigs here and there from stress & anxiety since Thanksgiving, and sort of stumbled across WTA while looking into other ways to address the issue (I was doing searches for compounding, or assembling, a selection of minor tobacco alkaloids - rather than extracting them, as in WTA).
I am interested in this WTA , as an alternative; my current "state of the art" is taping a pinch of chewing tobacco between my toes: it works, but you have to know you want the effect well ahead of time, and so works well if you know a certain day or event will set off the craves - but - its a crummy way to deal with unexpected stress/anxiety "relapse" stimuli, because delivery takes so long.
I was thinking that DMSO & Snus between the toes might be a work-around, allowing you to get a fast "hit" of the whole tobacco alkaloid spectrum, instead of a slow trickle that takes 60+ minutes to kick off. Posted this idea on a medical forum site to see if I could get any concept-killing feedback from the healthcare perspective, or suss out known dangers that did not pop up in my search. I will blog about any info I get about this. But, if WTA works as so many reviews have suggested, the DMSO may not matter anymore - the WTA would be vastly more convenient for treating unexpected/unanticipated relapse-danger incidents. But, for predictable "dangerous" periods, especially long ones, taping an "improvised patch" between the toes has just got to be cheaper than WTA.
