My other two pics didnt save to my phone for some reason and Im not home so ill upload in a bit, but next you want to trim more to free up airways so youre not completely filling the chimney, you want the cotton no taller than the coils, you alsow want enough shoulder to compensate for the low wick mass so you dont go dry on long pulls at high wattage. If you just have tails with no shoulder to act as a "reservoir" it wont wick to the coil fast enough, its not the attys wicking ability, 2.4mm coil wicks just dont hold much juice.
