Here's a review of two e-liquids from Five Pawns' new Mixology Edition. I loved Fifth Rank, but Perpetual Check wasn't for me. The former has a lovely complexity and features the unusual horehound herb. The latter has a nice black currant flavor, but a lot of its components were drowned out by the cinnamon flavor.

Here's an interview with Vaping Utopia executive director Ron Cachero. He talks about how the company got started, what makes his e-liquids different, descriptions of the initial flavors, and what's coming next.

Here's a review of three e-liquids from Five Pawns new Mixology Edition. These juices are inspired by alcoholic beverages. Like some of my favorite Five Pawns juices, Mixology has some truly unique and wonderfully complex blends. If you're a fan of complexity then you should definitely check out these juices.

Here's a review of three great Ahlusion e-liquids: Orient Whisper, Cherry Cola, and Sahara Blend. The first is a complex tropical fruit medley that uses lychee as the prominent flavor. The second is a rich cherry cola juice with a gourmet soda taste. Last is a tobacco e-liquid that mixes Turkish and Virginia tobaccos. Full details and steeping recommendations in the full text review.
Here's a review of the CMII Double Cross 1.5, a rebuildable dripping atomizer with some really unique features. Vapers that prefer flat ribbon should definitely check it out, as it's one of the easiest atomizers to work with using flat ribbon. Full review here.
Here's a review of three Goodejuice e-liquids made with naturally-extracted tobacco. They're great choices for vapers looking for an authentic tobacco experience. If you've been unsatisfied with tobacco e-liquids using artificial flavors then give these juices a shot. The tobacco flavors are true and delicious. Full review and steeping recommendations here.
Above is a video on Craft Vapery, accompanied by this text article. It's a subscription service that uses a curated approach to e-liquids. You get personalized service and recommendations -- from actual people. The prices are more expensive that most online retailers, but cheaper than most brick-and-mortar stores. For some vapers, Craft Vapery's service can be a great value. If you're still looking for the right juice or if you're always looking for something new, Craft Vapery is worth trying.
Here's my review of the Aqua from UVO System. A lot of people are comparing this atomizer to the Kayfun and while I agree that there are similarities, they offer different types of vapes. I love the Aqua for juices that taste better at higher temperatures -- bakery flavors, tobaccos, etc. It's easy to dual-coil, allowing for a warmer vape. This is where the Aqua excels. Here's a review of three Ahlusion e-liquids. I loved Gold Member and really loved Vecchio Blend. While I liked Gold Rising, it has a quality that's very much a love/hate thing. Check out the full review for more details.
Here's a review of some of my favorite drip tips on the market -- Envision Vapor's borosilicate glass drip tips. These are handblown in the USA and feature some really beautiful designs, as well as great functionality. To me, glass feels way better than metal or plastic. The heat dissipation is great for sub-ohm vaping as well. Many vapers are wary of glass drip tips due to perceived durability issues, but these drip tips are pretty sturdy. Naturally, they will break if you throw them like a four-seam fastball against a concrete wall, but mine have survived assorted bumps and bruises.

Here's my review of the Vape Syndicate Guardian. It's a made-in-the-USA titanium hybrid. While the price is high, you get a lot for $475 relative to some $400 standalone titanium mods on the market. Overall, I was really impressed by the construction and titanium body. Considering that this is a top-dollar item, I wish the contact points were something more exotic than brass and I wish the button throw was a bit shorter (though the latter nitpick is completely subjective).

Today's column is about cleaning new vape gear. I'm always amazed by vapers that use clearomizers right from the mailbox or drip tips fresh from the store. Would you buy flatware from Amazon or cups from Target without washing them first?
Here's an article on Craft Vapery, a new Los Angeles e-liquid company that's using a different approach to juices. Initially, you fill out a visual form to indicate what types of juices you like. Based on this info, the company curators suggest three flavors. After that, you can chat with the curators over email and phone to refine your flavor profile. There's some potential there, depending on how knowledgable the curators are. Ideally, Craft Vapery will help people find juices they love and avoid ones they won't.
If you're interested in giving them a shot, the article has a 20% off coupon code.
