FIRST IMPRESSIONS


I didn't expect much as far as packaging goes because after all it's a disposable. Each device ( I Was Sent 5 Flavors ) is sealed in a plastic wrapper and has a sticker covering the USB-C charge port and airflow inlet hole next to it, when charging or vaping a tiny LED inside the hole illuminates. The sticker is a safety measure that's applied to ensure no air can accidentally fire the device during shipping ( This Device Is Auto Draw Only ). The mouthpiece has a silicone plug installed in it for the same reason, both must be removed before using. I like the shape because the indents on each side fit my finger and crook of my hand nicely while holding.

Hallo frinds, I use the tw-20 coils for the l forch tank I have to say the vapimg and flavour are awesome.
I vape between 40-50w and I change a coil evry 10 days I now swe in my country now the nwe pnp mv-1 mash coils I wish to know please if someone knows if there there will keep the flavour good as it is and if there life time is longer?

Hello and welcome to yet another review by yours truly. Today I’m here to talk about the new Innokin EZ Tube Zenith Minimal Kit that was sent to me by Innokin in order to provide you with a fair and honest review.The EZ is a tube style device with an internal 2100mah battery and is paired with the Zenith Minimal Tank which is also new from Innokin. The mod has adjustable output with an LED screen located on the bottom. The Minimal tank is compatible with all of the Innokin Z Coils to provide both MTL and RDL styles of vaping. I have to admit that I’m a little excited to test this one out as I’ve been a long time fan of the coils and think it will fun to use a tube style mod again.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

I have to give kudos to Innokin for sticking with the recyclable materials that they use for not only the outer box but as much of the packaging as possible including the box inserts and pouches that the spare parts and coils come in.

The front of the box has a nice color picture of the actual device contained inside with of course the Innokin and EZ Tube names printed on it. Also on the front is a short list of features which is a nice change. The front is sealed by a single piece of paper tape. The back side of the box has the contents list, Innokin company information, and authenticity code.

The EZ Tube is part of the Platform Series of devices and the sides of the box have it printed on one side as well as letting you know that it was designed by P. Busardo and VapingGreek. The opposite side has then name of the color version and a small picture of the top half of the device.

Once the paper tape on the front is cut then the box flips open from the front. As you can see, I received two samples for this review. The color versions I received are the Lunar Grey and the Crimson Red. Both of them are very nice looking and give a feeling of quality when held. Initially what you see is the EZ Tube device with the Minimal tank on top with an Ultem drip tip installed. Underneath that recyclable tray there are two more recyclable containers that hold the accessories that include two more drip tips for MTL and RDL, spare o rings and a glass section, USB-C charging cable, spare .3 ohm Z coil, user guide, and safety booklet. The tank comes with the .8 ohm Z coil pre-installed.

The EZ Tube is a simplistic device but does offer some nice features. The front of the EZ Tube has the name printed on it in fairly large font. I’m personally not a big fan of large branding but this one doesn’t bother me. The front has a contour design that helps to make it especially feel nice in the hand. Near the top of the cutout is where you find the fire button. This one is button fired only and does not offer an auto fire function. The back side of the device has a clear sticker covering the USB charging port that lets the user know that the tank needs to be removed to remove the safety seal on the bottom of the tank to prevent accidental firing before filling the tank. I think this is the first time that I’ve seen this on a regular tank instead of a pod.

The 510 connection plate has the usual plated and spring loaded center pin. It however does not have any screws showing to indicate how the plate is secured to the mod. I don’t know if it is glued in place or what. I really didn’t want to ruin the device to find out. I didn’t have any issues with the 510 connection while testing it.

As I had mentioned earlier, this is a very simplistic device and that can be seen in the display screen that is located on the bottom of the tube. It simply shows the Innokin name along with a battery level indicator and the set wattage. It does show the length of time of the current puff while the fire button is pressed and displays for a short time after the button is released before switching back to the main display.

The device is turned on by pressing the fire button 3X like most Innokin devices. To adjust the wattage you need to press the fire button 2X and the wattage display will flash. At that point you can turn the ring on the bottom of the tube to adjust the wattage. There is also a lighted ring around the base that indicates the battery level as follows.

• Red = less than 10%
• Yellow = 10-30%
• Green = greater than 30%

The EZ Tube does have a handful of protections built in which are as follows.

• Low voltage protection
• No load/ High resistance protection
• Short Circuit protection
• Auto-shut off protection
• Overheat protection

Next let’s take a look at the Zenith Minimal tank. I’m pretty sure that I’ve used every one of the Zenith tanks that have been released in the past. This one does look and function similarly to the others but with one or two changes. The biggest and in my opinion the best change made was that the top cap is now removable like most other tanks instead of having a sliding top cap which makes it more difficult to clean. Speaking of cleaning, it’s always a good idea to disassemble any new tank and give it a thorough cleaning.

The kit comes with extra seals but also comes with two spare drip tips. One is supposed to be for MTL and the other for RDL. I however liked the pre-installed Ultem tip for both purposes.

The Minimal tank of course has a little bit of branding as one would expect. One side of the base has a Z on it with a line etched on either side while the opposite side has the Innokin name etched into it. The top cap has a series of three vertical lines engraved into it to make gripping the top cap easier. I personally was surprised how lightweight the top cap is and it was so much so that it almost gives it a cheap feeling. Also, I found the top cap a little more awkward to install compared to most other tanks I use. The top cap does have lock and unlock symbols with arrows engraved on it which is a nice touch. When first received the tank has a red plug covering the 510 connection to prevent accidental firing prior to filling. Also, the Zenith Minimal tank is compatible with the complete line of Z Coils from Innokin.

Innokin did a really nice job with the airflow control on this one in my opinion. There are a series of three single small holes to optimize the airflow control for a legitimate MTL experience. There is also a larger slotted airflow as you continue to turn the airflow control which is designed for a good RDL experience. I found that I preferred it with the large slot open half way for RDL and just the three single holes open for a loose MTL.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

In my opinion Innokin has successfully put out yet another quality product. In a world of dozens of new pods being released week after week, it’s nice to see something like this from Innokin. I’ve been vaping since 2009 and back in the day there were mostly tube mods after cigalikes so it is a little nostalgic for me to get to test a tube style mod which these days seem few and far between. Especially ones that are well done.

I used the Crimson Red version for MTL while keeping the Ultem drip tip in use. I like a loose MTL most times. I used the .8 ohm Z coil with a liquid called cream custard tobacco. The flavor and vapor production were very good and almost as good as the MTL rta that I had been running this same liquid in before. No complaints on this one. I liked this one at 19.5 watts.

Next up I put the .3 ohm coil in the Lunar Grey version. The .3 ohm Z coil is probably my favorite out of all of them and have a decent stockpile of them. This time I decided to go with a pomegranate pudding recipe that I have used on and off for probably 2-3 years. Once again I was very happy with the flavor and vapor production while running this one at 32.5 watts.

The 2100mah battery capacity seemed to last a very long time and especially with the .8 ohm coil. Even after the indicator light turned red I was able to continue to use the device for quite some time. Near the very end of the battery life I did notice a decrease in output but it needed to be recharged anyway. The only thing that I don’t like about the EZ Tube is that the battery light doesn’t change from green to yellow until you hit that 30% mark which could fool you into thinking that you have more battery life than you actually do. I feel like I’ve seen this in one or two other Innokin devices and would like to see a more even break like changing from green to yellow at say 60% and maybe to red at 30% instead of 10%.
