Blaze Pro Max RTA, an atomizer created by ThunderCloud in collaboration with the YouTuber Mikes Vapes. This is a massive rebuildable tank suitable for large cloud vaping. Top airflow, but as you can see from the photos of the deck, the air hits the coil (almost) entirely thanks to several micro airpins. The Blaze Pro Max RTA was sent to me for free by MoreVaping, without receiving any payment or having any collaborative relationship with them.



Packaging that leans towards the high end or, in any case, rare for products in this price range, with a beautiful large tin box, suggesting a rich equipment protected by a cardboard sleeve. On the bottom, there is also a scratch and check system to confirm the authenticity of your Blaze Pro Max RTA.



Content also well above average with, in addition to the Blaze Pro Max RTA already installed on the base equipped with 510 threading, a spare 5.5 ml tank, identical to the one already installed, and an additional 8.5 ml bubble tank. In the first bag, an Allen key, a screwdriver, grub screws, and spare o-rings. In the small bag, two 3-core fused clapton coils in Ni80 26ga x 3 + 35ga with a 3 mm diameter and 0.28 ohm each, and 6 parallel wraps. Finally, the leg trimmer and the user manual.



Blaze Pro Max RTA Thundercloud, a beast with a 28 mm base (but which reaches 30 or 35 mm at the pyrex tank, depending on which one is installed). Height of 45 mm and a weight of 87 grams due to the total construction in excellent quality steel. The top airflow and the 5.5 ml tank configuration are immediately visible, as well as the Blaze logo, engraved (not printed) on the bell cap.



Drip tip perhaps a bit short, made of plastic and with an 810 connection. Without o-rings, which are instead installed in the top cap housing and can be replaced with other drip tips of this type. Massive top cap that alone weighs 20 grams. Really difficult to make it hot during vaping. On the sides, grooves have been created to increase grip and facilitate opening.



Top cap equipped with a bayonet connection, and to screw or unscrew it, only a quarter turn is needed. Inside the top cap, there is an o-ring that ensures a tight seal, and the small tooth that allows the bayonet system to work should also be visible. Easy refill even if you keep liquids in twisted bottles thanks to a double slot.



Airflow ring and consequently, leakproof, equipped with an end stop that allows partializing the two mirrored slots. Ring equipped with a honeycomb system with 31 small holes per side to make the draw slightly quieter and more turbulent, as well as allowing precise adjustment of the airflow. It can be removed, remembering to align it due to the presence of the end stop, and is held by an o-ring. The pyrex tanks can be removed from below by sliding off the deck/base, with a choice between the standard 5.5 ml and 30 mm diameter (two available in the package) or the 8.5 ml and 35 mm diameter one.



Deck connection that must be aligned with the narrowing of the bell cap to allow correct insertion and then screwed on. If you are a fan of bottom filling like me, it is possible to do it quite easily, although obviously ThunderCloud did not intend it this way. Postless dual coil deck, therefore no turrets, with airflow baptized by ThunderCloud as Dual 310° Honeycomb, consisting of 60 small holes that hit the coils.



Photo with the 3-core fused clapton Ni80 26ga x 3 + 35ga 3 mm coils supplied. Simple installation, despite my being old school and coming from turrets, it was quite easy to install the two coils, perhaps avoiding using the supplied screwdriver and using a real one. The cotton must then be passed through the common cotton retainer for the two coils, which will be seen better later with the deck disassembled.



The height of the coils in the photo, although ThunderCloud does not specify anything, was obtained by cutting the legs to 5 mm in length using the special coil trimmer supplied. 4 mm is far too little and there is a risk of touching the deck and creating a short circuit, while 6 mm does not allow full exploitation of the airflow system lateral to the coil, and the cotton wicks would be very long.



Small detail of the stand with 510 threading supplied in the package. Where the first part and its narrowing should be noted in order to pair it much more easily with mods without it protruding for aesthetic reasons. Various engravings including Mike Vapes' signature, ThunderCloud logo, serial number, CE marking, and disposal symbol. It is possible to unscrew the gold-plated pin with the supplied key.



Coil clamping system and airflow completely separable once the pin is unscrewed. The generous cotton slots with a locking system that greatly simplifies things should be better noticed. They must obviously be completely covered with cotton, but without exaggerating in length; the cotton wick just needs to touch the deck. A peek insulator is present in the pin housing, which seems fixed or, in any case, there is no danger of it flying away as soon as it is unscrewed.



Blaze Pro Max RTA produced by ThunderCloud, very high quality-price ratio given the rich equipment, with 3 pyrex tanks and an atomizer that weighs almost 90 grams. The only real threading has been executed very well, while the bayonet connection needs a bit of lubrication with the liquid inside the top cap o-ring when screwing it on, or there is a risk of too much friction. I haven't found any other flaws. The flavor reproduction is very good even without pushing towards such complex builds as the one you get with the two coils included in the package. With a single 26-gauge wire on a 3 mm coil jig, you can already achieve good results. The structure of the Blaze Pro Max RTA obviously allows for much more powerful builds given its excellent heat dissipation. For someone using a dual coil atomizer for the first time with zero experience, the screws allow for fairly easy coil tightening, making learning about this world much simpler.

This is the version that has pods with replaceable coils.
I used the pod and the .6 ohm coil it came with for a short period of time.
I'll include the pod I used, it seems a shame to toss it out, it used so little.
I'll also include two new in sealed package replacement pods and a five pack of replacement coils.
This is in like new condition, in its original box with everything it came with.
I used it for under an hour. Looks and works excellent.
I just can't get used to the physical size of it and went back to the pen sized vapes I've gotten used to.

Eleaf iVeni Lite, belonging to the iVeni family, is the smallest version with compatibility of some Pods with other devices in this series. A minimal pod, one of those that does everything themselves. The user is only left to fill the Pod with liquid and vape. Sample sent free of charge by Eleaf, without me perceiving any money or having any work affiliations with them.



Dimensions of 24.8 x 14.7 x 109 mm, aluminum body and weight, pod included, of 46 grams. 1100 mAh battery, 20 watts maximum and automatic draw and power delivery. Manufacturers continue with minimal packaging and equipment to align the cost with that of disposables. In addition to the iVeni Lite body, an 0.8 ohm iVeni Pod, warranty, and instruction manual. A USB Type-C cable is absent.



iVeni Pod, capacity as far as I understand only 2 ml, even if the non-TPD variant is purchased. Always the usual cartridge version despite the name, so once the coil is exhausted, I have to throw everything away with the pro of having less condensation and zero leaks. Made of clear smoked PCTG, it's easy to check the liquid level. The refill cap is placed in a location that every manufacturer should copy since, as will be seen, it allows refilling without removing the pod.



If you're afraid of opening it inadvertently, the cap has enough friction and it's difficult unless you go at it with your finger. Always a duckbill mouthpiece but with good contrast. Available iVeni Pods:iVeni 0.6Ω - 15/25 wattsiVeni 0.8Ω - 13/20 wattsiVeni 1.2Ω - 10/12 wattsA small specification, that wattage range is exclusively to realize the margin of maneuver on other iVenis where it's possible to adjust the watts. The iVeni has automatic delivery, so it should deliver a middle ground. There is also the 0.4 ohm iVeni Pod but it is specified in the official manual that the iVeni Lite reads pods from 0.45 ohm upwards; Eleaf therefore does not mention it in its flyers.



The iVeni Pod housing is shallow, so condensation is non-existent. The automatic draw selector is present (the only one available). It will be seen later but thanks to this feature, it is possible to refill (and not dirty the bottom of the liquid after refilling) without removing the iVeni Pod from the body. Magnetic attachment of the iVeni pods and reading entrusted to gold-plated pins.



The airflow control knob, as Eleaf decided to call it in the instruction manual, is chrome and not the same color as the iVeni Lite body. Composed of 3 holes, one larger than the other even if the first and second seem almost the same to me. It varies from a definable MTL draw to an (almost) RDL. It is possible to partially adjust them, uncovering one or two holes and leaving the second and third half open.



On the other side there is the USB Type-C port installed on the side, with 1A charging supported, perhaps a worse specification than this iVeni but unfortunately inevitable when talking about small capacity batteries and trying, by the manufacturer, to make them last as long as possible. Recharging the 1100 mAh battery takes about an hour and a half. USB cable not supplied, a specific one is not needed but maybe a good quality one is.



The bottom is quite small, even here a lanyard holder or a cap on the drip tip wouldn't have hurt, so as to always maintain hygiene and not be forced to always have it in your pocket. CE marking and disposal symbol engraved.



Front side, another poetic license from Eleaf with the LumiDot LEDs, installed about three-quarters of the way up the body which have the task of indicating the battery charge status (or as in the photo, during the charging phase). Very bright since the photo was taken with intense artificial light, they are clearly visible outdoors even in the sun. No physical buttons or screen.



100 - 61%: Green

30-0%: Red

Despite the absence of buttons, Eleaf thought to install a draw lock system anyway. They talk about childproof, but beyond having children at home I've always thought it was strange to walk around with unlocked devices in my pocket. To activate or deactivate the childproof lock, 3 puffs must be performed within 1.5 seconds. Other protections:

Low Voltage: when the battery delivers less than 3.3 volts the LumiDot LEDs flash red 20 times
Over time: when the puff is longer than 10 seconds, the LumiDot LEDs flash 10 times
Short circuit: when the iVeni Pod is not detected, the LumiDot LED flashes 5 times or 3 times if it occurs during the puff



Final thoughts: the inclusion of the 0.8 ohm pod is a good move so that the user can easily decide whether to opt for the 1.2 or 0.6 ohm or just stick with the 0.8. For the size, the airflow is good, it's not the usual pen-style pod (it's smaller in person than it looks in the photos) where air seems to pass through just enough, perhaps also thanks to the not-so-deep pod housing. FIRST IMPRESSIONS


Being such a full featured device I was surprised the packaging was rather simple with a slide out inner container with the device sitting in a foam cut-out with the charge cord, user manual and warranty card laying below it. I knew the device was going to be small but didn't know it was TINY. I instantly loved it once I picked it up and placed it in my hand. The aluminum body cuts the weight down to a good feeling device that's not heavy or a featherweight either' I find it in the goldilocks realm feeling just right.

I held it in both hands looking to see if either hand made a difference firing the device and I found it didn't really matter but having the spine of the device resting in the crook of my fingers felt better than using it in my right hand. I find this to be a very classy looking device and love the mirror finish of the backside but that fades away quickly because it's also a fingerprint magnet that takes the shine away from the mirror finish.

The buttons all feel great and are responsive with their size being just right improving the mods appearance. On the bottom is where the battery tube and charge port are located. I am not a fan of this style of battery cover being a twist off, threads are fine on it but being so small and me having large hands I can't really get my finger and thumb into the cut outs of the cover, a word of cation to you is don't tighten the cover too tight because it will be a bear to loosen and remove.

The top plate has the 510 pin being offset and not centered which is fine, YIHI also went the extra mile cutting grooves into the top plate for old styled atomizers that require their air from the 510, those old tanks are still in use for some folks and it's nice YIHI thought about them. Atomizers up to 24mm will fit without any overhang.

Dropped my mod the other night and broke my last itaste VTR tank. Was using it on an Aegis Geekvape mod, so no protective cage. I still have eight 5-pack boxes of coils and really like the tight draw and flavour I get from them. Having to use a modern MTL Tank with a wide mouth drip tip now and hating it.

If anyone has an old tank, or at least the plastic tube that the coil sits in, in the back of their junk drawer that takes this coil, I'd like to buy it from them.

This kit works with double external battery, and despite this the dimensions are optimized, the grip is ergonomic. The Mod is Touchscreen and there are no other physical buttons except the Fire button which is present in the form of a large and comfortable side bar.

For an entry level pod Mod, all this can certainly be defined as an advanced vaping technology.

I received two Vsee One devices for this test, one Mint Grey and the other Mint Pink. In the photo below you can see the narrow side of the Vsee One where the selection button is located, just below there is a small mirror-polished plate with the name Hellvape engraved. The Vsee One only works through automatic extraction, so using the button you can only change the settings. With 5 clicks you can turn the Mod on and off. With three clicks you can select one of the 4 available power levels, and to move to the next power level do 1 click. With two clicks you can select one of the 3 available animations, to change the animated theme do 1 click.

iCita SE, a pod that was sent to me by Eleaf, the first box mod brand I purchased way back in 2016 with their Pico Mega (still working).
I did not receive any money and I have no work affiliations with Eleaf.
An apparently minimalist device, with a design adopted by other manufacturers but with the peculiarity of a touch screen. To further differentiate itself, Eleaf has decided to integrate a 1400 mAh battery, larger than the average compared to its competitors.



Dimensions of 27 x 16 x 118mm, body made of aluminum and weighing 62 grams with the pod installed. 1400 mAh battery, fast charging and power output up to 40 watts.Minimal packaging, with the iCita SE arriving cellophane-wrapped in disposable style, the very market it aims to enter. In addition to it, a user manual and warranty, and already installed, an iCita Pod with 0.3 ohm depending on the version purchased, either 2 or 3 ml.



The iCita Pods, despite the name, are cartridges; once the coil is exhausted, the whole thing is thrown away. Made of smoked PCTG with a clear finish, so it's quite easy to see the liquid when it's running low. You should be able to tell from the shape of the duckbill drip tip that the size of the hole leans towards a fairly open MTL. Refill via a hole protected by a green stopper.



iCita Pods are available in 2 and 3 ml capacity versions, and for both, 3 versions are available with a mesh wire section:0.3Ω 40W - 30W (included in the package)0.6Ω 25W - 15W0.8Ω 20W - 13WValues also reported on the bottom, so you can easily recognize them if, for example, you use two pods together, interchanging them. If such a wide range seems strange, everything will become clearer later when I explain how the power delivery works in the iCita SE.



The housing for the iCita Pods is quite deep; to see the liquid level, you need to tilt the pod, and the area where the stopper is located goes completely inside the body. Contact via mobile gold pins and retention entrusted to magnets. The automatic draw sensor is present, the only one available.



On the side, a chrome slider allows you to partially adjust the 3 air holes of different sizes and shapes as you like. The airflow allows from a not too tight MTL draw (the pods need at least one open hole, or the draw becomes too restricted) to having (almost) an RDL, or a very open MTL when both are left wide open.



A rather pleasant novelty given that few manufacturers offer it. The USB Type-C port allows charging, if you obviously use a USB cable that supports 2A. Things then become interesting since the 1400 mAh battery, which is already quite a lot for a pod of similar size and weight, takes an hour and a few minutes to recharge.



Given the reduced diameter of the iCita SE, the bottom does not offer much stability. It is therefore mandatory to either lay it down or use a lanyard with a silicone ring to hold the pod. The classic CE marking and disposal symbol are engraved. I also specify that my Carbon Fiber finish is only printed and not embossed.



I don't know whether to call it a selling point or something else, but on the iCita SE there is an option that is new to me. A touch screen/sensor that allows both input and choosing the power intensity. It's a pleasant middle ground between pods with a similar form factor that usually have a screen or those that are purely mechanical. Eleaf has managed to strike a balance without taking up too much space intended for the battery and offering something more than pods with automatic delivery.



Although limited, the circuit installed on the iCita SE still allows for an improved vaping experience. Above is the explanation of how the battery detector works. The only input mode is pressing the touch screen, with two possibilities:

5 clicks within 2 seconds to enter the power intensity selection mode
8 clicks within 3 seconds to turn the iCita SE on or off

The power delivery mode consists of 3 different lights (in the photo above it would be the central, green one) where the official manual provided by Eleaf in the package specifies the corresponding wattage:

0.3Ω High/Red: 40W, Medium/Blue: 35W, Low/Green: 30W
0.6Ω High/Red: 25W, Medium/Blue: 22W, Low/Green: 15W
0.8Ω High/Red: 20W, Medium/Blue: 18W, Low/Green: 13W

Eleaf's recommended wattage for all iCita Pods is the Medium/Blue setting, but as always for me, the Low/Green setting works just fine. Protections:

Over Time: Cutoff power delivery after 8 seconds (5 green flashes)
Short Circuit: Warning (5 red flashes) and shutdown
Pod not detected: Warning (5 blue flashes) and shutdown
Low Battery: Warning (5 red flashes) and shutdown (below 3.3V or 3.0V during use)



The form factor is not new, but the touch screen novelty is commendable.
