***My Review***

I've been using this for roughly 2 and a half weeks as I got it on February 3rd and immediately went to work on it. It's gorgeous 1st off. The polished finish doesn't attract smudges, fingerprints or liquid condesate at all which is awesome. The build deck is easy to work on too which is awesome. For mine, as a matter of personal preference, I opted for my hand wrapped NK Coil Wire alien coils of .12ohm combined running at 110W and there's no popping, spitting or general unhappiness from the RDA. The details on it are stunning, even if they are hard to see on a silver tank. It's got the Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Hearts on the inside under the build deck, as well as around the attached drip tip which is an awesome touch. They are however harder to see on the Stainless Steel colorway and are more of a ghost texture, whereas they're more pronounced in the other colorways. Overall I would honestly say I love this RDA. For this review I used my (as yet to be reviewed) Glas Basix Blueberry Cake 70/30 in 0% nicotine. Absolutely stellar kit and the flavor is on point of what I would say is the flavor advertised on the box. The Joker inspiration is 100% noticable and honestly, I like it a lot.

***Verdict***

Overall based on build quality, usability, and ease of building I give this RDA a solid 9.8/10. That's only because of the fact that it's ghost textured details. Otherwise it's a perfect RDA.

The report is huge so here’s a quick overview…

• The AM04 is a rewrap of the Ampace JP40.
• The AM04 performs a touch worse than the other JP40’s but you probably won’t notice the difference.
• There are serious AM04 performance inconsistency issues at high power levels.
• There are multiple AM04 datasheet errors and ratings that can cause rapid cell degradation and even cell failure. This affects user safety.
• An uncalibrated prototype testing system and inconsistent, slow, and inaccurate temperature sensors were used to set some of the AM04’s ratings.
• A video on Austin’s web site falsely claims that it shows AM04 cells being made.
• The AM04 has none of the required safety testing and regulatory documents. Pack assemblers, make sure your insurance still covers you if using this cell!
• Austin was given a chance to preview the test report and respond with a statement that I would include in the report. I have never offered this to anyone before. Unfortunately, his statement was just an appalling mix of bad science and a sales brochure. Such a wasted opportunity to address all the issues I found.
