► Hellvape Hellbeast RTA; Introduction:
When it comes to design Hellvape always manages to hit the mark with its products, and it does so with style, trying every time to also technically improve the previous devices, demonstrating commitment and passion. Improving a good RTA is not easy, what you can do is try to make it easier to rebuild, use quality materials, reduce operating temperatures, or obtain a wider AFC adjustment possible to capture the smallest nuances of flavor. For this review Hellvape sent me two different color versions, one "Matte Black" and the other "Gold". Given the Hellbeast RTA's vocation to produce large clouds, the first thing I thought of was to install it on a Dual Battery Mod that is able to unleash its full potential without running into problems of limited autonomy. However, the limited dimensions of 25mm at the base allow for easy installation on most mods on the market.

• AFC ring with 50 honeycomb holes
• Replaceable straight glass tube
• Postless deck
• Removable positive turret
• Adjustable 510 pin.

► Hellvape Hellbeast RTA; Top and bottom:
The base with its 25mm diameter has some writing on it; disposal logo, legal mark, product name, in the center on the threaded thread there is an adjustable and insulated gold-plated pin. The upper part sees the presence of a low-profile Drip Tip, replaceable with any other 810 Drip Tip.

SX MINI SL CLASS V2 MOD REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

i got the SL Class v2 & have been playing w/ it extensively, topped by a dual coil RDA w/ pre-made SS316 coils...

The firmware is difficult to navigate, imo. Like every other mod, the documentation is of little help. But i did get TC set up.

The curve is easy to customize. It only gives you 1 customizable curve in TC, as opposed to the several in VW. That's not a problem for me, personally, but it was surprising. i'd have expected it to have a few memory slots for different curves. Also surprising was that there's only a 316 preset for SS. i'd expect a mod w/ a rep for grest TC to have other grades, too. You can set a TCR manually for any material; that can be tricky, though.

Far as i can figure out, that curve is the only way to tweak the TC. You can use any of several pre-sets (hot, warm, norm, cool, cold) & have a curve -- the curve seems to adjust the pre-heat wattage by % values. What you can't seem to do is adjust manually either the temp or the TC wattage limit. That's w/ auto-power either on or off. i still haven't quite dialed in my ideal vape on this RDA; good thing i enjoy fiddling around w/ that kind of thing because this is definitely a mod for tweekers.

As far as how effective the TC is, it does give low liquid warnings. Once, that came only after a nasty near-dry hit. That 1 might have been my fault, though, because i moved to a different room w/o re-adjusting anything. i didn't feel any difference in room temperature but maybe it was enough to throw off the mod. When i've stayed put, the low liquid warning has come before any nastiness.

i suppose i'd have to say that i'm pleased w/ the mod's asthetics & it's apparant build-quality & w/ it's performance in wattage mode, which has been stellar using an RTA. i'll probably be happy w/ it's TC mode performance once i've found my ideal puff, since it does seem to be highly sensitive, which indicates high accuracy. On the other hand, i wish it had more, specifically those things i mentioned above. For the low price i paid, i'm happy. Had i bought it when it was at full price, i'd be mad at myself over it.
As I said in my review I'm not a TC user as yourself and many others for the reasons that you just stated. I just don't have the time to devote on tweaking my vape to the ultimate vape and for that I envy you and others. I'm glad that you found a happy medium with the TC vape. Thank you for the reply back on your experience using TC and Power Curves. Keep tweaking I know that you'll hit that TC sweet spot.:)
