What are your favorite tips for vaping beginners?

For anyone just getting into vaping, what products would you recommend or what tips and would you give for those just getting started?
#1 if you ARE NOT a current or almost former smoker just DON'T!!

While vaping is considered in some parts of the world 'less harmful' then smoking it is still harmful! Vaping IS NOT healthy!

#2 Keep in mind the 'KISS' principal (keep it simple stupid)

Don't over think it and don't over spend on it.

#3 As far as juice goes find a flavor that you ether like or can tolerate

In some areas you can SAMPLE the juices before purchasing and others you can't. If you can't sample then get small amounts FIRST before plunking a bunch of $$$ on larger containers.

Some like getting 'tobacco' flavors while the majority go for ANYTHING BUT a tobacco flavor.

You'll need ~30ml of juice a week to get started and 18-50mg nicotine level.
(18mg freebase or 35-50mg salts)

#4 Mod/Device

Here there are a number of options however there are a few recommendations that come to mind.

Something that is refillable is less expensive and more usable in the long run than something that is not.

Mods that have replaceable battery(s) are more expensive upfront however can have a longer use life than mods that have internal batteries.

Not all mods that have internal (non-replaceable) batteries are created equal - some will allow you to vape while the device is charging (some call it "pass through vaping") which is a very desirable feature.

Speaking of mods and battery charging, weather your mod has internal battery or replaceable battery you NEED a way to vape while the device/battery is CHARGING! This is often accomplished by having TWO devices! (one charging while the other is in use) The added BONUS here is that you have a backup device in case of mod/atomizer failure. :)

While IDK what smokes cost these days but when I started vaping spending 1-2 weeks worth of smoking $$$ on a vape kit+juice seemed reasonable to me.

#5 Last but not least - don't give up!

It might take a few days or weeks for you to change over to vaping. Personally it took me only 3 days to convert over to only vaping. Everyone is different so don't give up hope of being smoke free.

New review time. I'm officially caught up on reviews now.

Good review as always.

I have to make sure it is chicken or fish because he is the one that cannot eat animals that have hair. That is still just so weird to me.
Yep! That's weird, alright. For myself, I sensibly eat nothing with less than two legs, nor more than four.

Why no Tube 21700 Regulated Mods?

This is an Ehpro Armor. It uses one 2x700 or one 18650 battery. It is a 'regulated mech'. It has one button, and one LED that emits thru two holes. I've had it and been very pleased with it for close to about 3 or 4 years now. I got it from fasttech, but I guess the manufacturer would be a place to start looking if you want.
I had one of those for a while. Bright red. Nice mod but after around 6 months it auto-fired on me. Couldn't figure out the problem so I had to dump it.

Why no Tube 21700 Regulated Mods?

Like you I stocked up on Pico 75's, Squeeze 2's and Pico S 21700's. I am also running Arctic Fox on them. I think Eleaf did an excellent job designing the Pico's. My first Pico 75w is still going strong. The body is beat-up but that's to be expected for a mod from 2015/16.

My wife was always dropping her Pico 75's and they just continued working. She would drop them in the snow, on concrete, gravel and in the mud while gardening. Eleaf could have hired her to do extreme mod testing.
I got a bunch of Pico 75's as well. No problems except for the screens dimming. I have a couple where the screen is too dim to read at all and a couple more that are heading that way. I could plug them into Arctic Fox and see what the settings are but that's a little tedious.

Had to Re register with new email

So the t-mobile hack of a few years ago more or less crippled my internet activity for a while. Even though I wasn’t a customer and hadn’t been for years they kept all my personal info then lost it in the hack, and boom I was for sale on the dark web. Had to abandon my email address. I’ve messed with this stuff since like 2008 though.

TOBACCO MONSTER – BOLD

TOBACCO MONSTER - BOLD
Manufacturer:Monster Labs, England
Packaging: 100 ml flavour and base liquid in a 120 ml bottle. Shortfill
PG-VG ratio: 30PG - 70VG
Setup: MTL RTA, 20w
Those who know me and read my tests know that I'm not a big tobacco puff, it's more the fruit and dessert flavours that I use. I do occasionally run into a tobacco product or two, like this one that the juicyvapour team sent me to try. The product has a hazelnut tobacco flavouring according to the manufacturer, however as you can see from the picture there will be a bit of chocolate in there too, hopefully. The smell is quite good, hazelnut and maybe a hint of chocolate, like a hazelnut chocolate. I always sniff the aromas by dripping a little bit on my finger and somehow the scents come out better. The flavour is a bit more complex and it's a completely different direction. The base flavor is a cigarette-like tobacco that's got a bit of a sweet aftertaste. This is followed by the 'extras', which include roasted hazelnuts, honey, chocolate. Sometimes the hazelnuts are more noticeable, a little more densely puffed than if there was honey in it, and sometimes you can detect the chocolate in it. I'm totally crazy about this aroma. It's so varied and unique that almost every suck brings out different flavours from the steaming. It's not just a flavour, as you usually experience with fruity flavours - a sort of presidential, suit-clad gentleman in a pensive chair, sipping his whisky with a good smoke. I think vapers who smoke will find the flavours listed in the product and will have a pleasant vaping experience, as I did. Thanks to the guys at juicyvapour, it was truly a pleasure to test drink.

Chuffed – Lemon Tart

Chuffed - Lemon Tart
Producer: England
Packaging: 100ml Shortfill, 70VG/30PG.
I've taken a flavour from the English dessert line of the producer Chuffed, which in this case is the popular lemon tart flavour. The manufacturer's range of shorfills includes a variety of trends, fruit, dessert, floral and many other special flavours. So, in a 120ml flask, you get 100ml of finished product, ready to use. The scent reminds me of a very lemony neapolitan with a strong lemon predominance. It smells much more subtle when poured into the tank than when sniffed from the wooden bowl. On the inhale there is a strong sweet lemon flavour, and on the exhale there is a hint of the neapolitan, sponge cake delight. It tastes terrifically good, you just can't put it down. The lemon leads the flavours all the way through, sweet but with a little acidity. It's definitely all about the lemon. A real treat that you can't get tired of. The cakey part is a little in the background, but it's totally identifiable and not overwhelmed by the fruitiness of the flavour. The colour of the aroma is a very nice ochre yellow, which is true to the description of the product. The price is not dangerous when looking at foreign shops, about 3-4 thousand forints. This price is quite friendly if you look at the flavours and the quantity. Usually, like all similar flavours, it gives the roll some black colour and coking, but I think it's definitely worth it, as you can steam a great dessert flavour that really tastes good after a hearty meal.

The Lurker Thread

I am glad as well that your hands are feeling better, Rat2.

Just got home from the pancake breakfast. They had a basket raffle as well and we made out like bandits. Dog toys/treat basket, gift certificate to a restaurant we like, chocolate and wine, patriotic basket and another that had springy paper plates/napkins that I thought would be perfect for Easter next year. We will donate some of the stuff back along with the baskets they came in. And wouldn’t ya know it, the Sports complex that held winter soccer snuck in another game. Tonight. 8:25. I am not happy about that at all. Don’t they know that is my bedtime with a movie, book or surfing the web?!?!?

It is absolutely gorgeous out there, except for all the darn pollen. My eyes are burning. :( Tomorrow will be just as nice supposed to be 80 both days.

Glad you have a quiet day, Dale :)
