Good morning shinies,
it's up and running, that said, I have to resolder the 510 so that the chipset gets to the bottom.
Not my best work, very tight to lay wires and solder.
I wanted to put the wires under the chipset, but there was simply no room, not even for 28awg wire, one yes, but not two.

What's left is to get everything really stable, make the faceplate and actuators.

Most people just don't realize you can ship and not use USPS, UPS, or FedEx. It is also 100% Leagle, just look up local companies that ship. Often times they can be cheeper too

Vaporesso GTX One Pro Kit by Infinium

vhX1pnr.jpeg

After so many pods and small pods, Vaporesso finally returns to the world of boxes (and tanks) with a proposal that goes completely against the current market trend, and for this reason, it's interesting. The kit is composed of the GTX One Pro Mod, a box with an integrated battery and, it must be specified now given its rarity, a 510 connection, and its XTank T, a tank with pre-made coils of contained dimensions that oscillates from an MTL to a timid RDL with top airflow. GTX One Pro Kit, a gift from Sourcemore.

ApLPP6q.jpeg

The usual Vaporesso green on a black base for the plasticized sleeve that covers the heavy cardboard box. Inside, there's the GTX and its XTank T, two GTX Coils, one of which is installed. Also included are a USB Type-C cable, a manual, a replacement pyrex tank, and a second RDL drip tip.

7vEcHqN.jpeg

The first item to be examined is the new XTank T, an MTL-shaped tank that Vaporesso wants to make function as a timid RDL as well. The diameter is listed by some websites as 19 mm, others 22: it's both. It starts from the 19 mm of the base and then widens up to the 22 mm of the 3 ml glass. It weighs 49 grams and is 40 mm high, excluding the drip tip and the 510 pin.

rqlH9iP.jpeg

The box contains two drip tips, both made of black plastic, with one more oriented towards MTL vaping (14 mm height, a hole that is 4 mm wide at the base and reaches 6 mm at the tip) and the other intended for RDL purposes (12 mm height and a straight hole of 4.5 mm).

ZySd8gp.jpeg

The top cap marks a pleasant change with the possibility of being completely unscrewed, and the closure is secured by a threading, so it's no longer the slide system of the latest iTank T. Despite the secure closure, there's still a silicone sheath with a double hole, with one allowing liquid to enter and the other allowing air to exit.

acSwB3S.jpeg

The airflow ring is placed at the top, so there are no leaks. It consists of 2 small holes and a slot for RDL on each side. The tradition continues from the iTank T of printing small numbers to easily find your preferred airflow setting. By unscrewing the top cap, it can be removed for cleaning, and there is a stopper. Conversely, the 3 ml pyrex tank can be removed from the bottom by first unscrewing the base, and there is a replacement one included. The double o-ring provides an amazing seal; if you want to clean it right out of the box, put it in the freezer for 5 minutes or try to insert some neutral base to facilitate extraction.

g4IW3OF.jpeg

With the base unscrewed, you can better inspect the top airflow system, which is common to many other atomizers, with two slots that bring air to the coil. The GTX Coils are installed by pressure thanks to the 3 o-rings, but not before having primed them as you see fit, taking some time especially with the 0.6 ohm GTX due to the amount of cotton.

oTvwkV4.jpeg

The correctly installed GTX Coil then makes contact with the pin in the base, visible in the previous photo. Externally on the base, the Vaporesso logos, CE, disposal, and Made in China are engraved. Although the pin looks flush in the photos, in addition to using it on its GTX One Pro, I also tried using it on NON-Vaporesso boxes without the slightest problem.

kBzXTe4.jpeg

The XTank T is compatible with a portion of the mesh-section GTX Coils, with a choice between:

0.4Ω - 26 / 32 Watts - 30 W suggested
0.6Ω - 20 / 26 Watts - 24 W suggested (included in the package)
0.8Ω - 12 / 16 Watts - 16 W suggested
1.2Ω - 8 / 12 Watts - 11 W suggested (included in the package)

Structurally and from the airflow, the XTank T is more of an MTL atom; acceptable results with the 1.2 ohm for flavor. With the 0.6, using both the minimum watts (20) and those recommended by Vaporesso (24) due to the restriction on the 19 mm base and the fact that even fully opening the air is barely enough for a coil that requires similar wattages, the flavor definition drops, and with close draws, you feel a bit of warmth. Although I haven't tried the 0.8 ohm, I hope the performance is similar to the 1.2 ohm to give the user two choices. I used 55 vg - 45 pg final liquids given the still-warm temperatures and to avoid ruining the only coils I had.

The GTX One Pro measures 85.5 x 23 x 30mm and weighs 89 grams. It is made of zinc alloy, and depending on the color, the material of the coating varies. The capacity is 3000 mAh, USB Type-C that supports 2A for charging, and power output from 5 to 40 watts.

Zn2L637.jpeg

The GTX One Pro Mod has a 19 mm plate installed on the chassis with 3 important-sized screws. In addition to its X Tank, you can install atomizers up to (almost) 22 mm since they create a slight step of a few tenths of a mm with the chassis, but it's barely noticeable, while 23 mm ones protrude but don't cause any bother.

WZL7fYU.jpeg

On the back of the GTX One Pro Mod, depending on the chosen color, the material's texture can be faux leather, or in the case of the pink and blue colors, it's silicone. Speaking of my case with the faux leather, the pattern/print should vary among the 4 colors, while the quality (in my case faux leather) seemed to me to be far superior to the Target series, less thick and "spongy."

A1GZfgt.jpeg

Vaporesso has decided to equip the GTX One Pro Mod with a rubberized base, which doesn't completely cover the perimeter of the box but offers a square that rests on surfaces. The stability is not great and is mostly guaranteed by the position of the integrated battery, which should be installed right near the base.

BUWfuL3.jpeg

On the front side, the black mask, which is the same for all colors, encloses the round and slightly profiled fire button with a lighter color. Just below is the 0.87” OLED screen, the switch for the button lock, and the two + and - buttons, which are a bit (too) small. Last is the USB Type-C port that supports 2A charging.

u9Cwq5p.png

The GTX One is equipped with the Axon Chip, which makes a nice throwback to the past, returning in a black and white version. It streamlines a bit regarding the modes and graphic customizations of the Armour and Gen 2024 series, but by current standards, it still has several options.

5 clicks to turn on / off
3 clicks to enter the menu
switch to lock and unlock the buttons (fire does NOT fire)

Options in the menu:

Pulse: the option closest to variable wattage, still with the particularity of a pulsed delivery
Eco: energy saving, a feeling of about 10-15% less than the selected wattage
Smart: can be activated for Eco and Pulse and automatically sets the watts based on the coil resistance read
Watt Lock: to inhibit the + and - buttons while the fire button still fires
Puff: to reset the puff counter

The instruction manual lists the protections as cutoff (OVER TIME on the screen) after 10 seconds of firing. For a low or overloaded battery, LOW BAT appears; for a coil with too low ohms or a short circuit, AT SHORT; while for an atomizer not detected or resistance too high, AT CHECK. The Pulse delivery is acceptable (maybe selecting 1 or 2 watts less than usual since it fires a bit more than the selected wattage). The Eco seems to have the same delivery as the Gen 2024 series, which gradually decreases during the puff. The battery charge indicator drops uniformly until about 30% remaining, where the battery quickly reaches 20% and signals that it needs to be charged.

VqONGeg.jpeg

The GTX One Pro Mod is a nice box; maybe I would have appreciated a less slender and slightly "chunkier" design to be able to use 23 mm atomizers as well since it is also sold alone. Few misfires, a pleasant design, and I hope for a version with an 18650 battery to carry on the legacy of what the old Gen 80 was, since the feeling of holding it in hand is very similar, much more so than the Gen SE. The XTank T with its 1.2 coil is pleasant to vape, the 0.6 is a bit of a stretch, but some might still appreciate it.
