Sorry for the absence, the dog had a medical emergency and we spent over 55 hours in emergency vet hospitals until he was treated He's so old the anesthesia should have done him in but he pulled through remarkedly well and is recovering quickly now at home. :nun:

First leg done with decent weather! Some light rain the first 100 miles or so, then dry. Overcast, but no snow :)

Yeah, while actively on the road, no funnies ;) Need to make tracks, so will stop in in the evening again tomorrow.

Charging an Ego Air?

So I just used my Air for the first time and I love it. Now I'm trying to charge it. When I plug it in, no light goes on. When I unplug it, it blinks three times. I don't know if it's blinking "fast" as sites say, it's just blinking. But plugged into the C charger, no light goes on. Is this it? LOL. Thanks!

Can you use citrus oil outdoors?

Yes, I believe so, as long as it doesn't rain. There is an Amazon product called Orange Guard. (I can't get the link to work.)

..sooo should I stick with Kanthal is the 'safest' despite no TC? New simple MOD rec.

Ya know I've been using TC from the very start of my vaping. (2011) If the vape is to cold ... I reduce the number of wraps. To hot ... I add a wrap.
5 wraps of 32ga. NiCro around 3mm Ekowool seems to work out well. (1.8 ohms)

Never could understand why folks wanted to make thing so complicated.
There is no 'bigger-better' ....... just find what works for you & stick with it.
I just use the buttons to turn the temperature up/down depending on flavor. Some flavors taste better hotter and others are better colder.

I don't get the 'bigger is better' mantra ether. Most my vaping is single coil and less than 25W.

I guess different strokes for different folks.

They're good products, they're just different. I also don't find myself using mine, but that can be said for several of the kits I currently have set up and waiting for a puff.

Did you try the adapter yet? That was very finicky for me, but finally got it to work properly. I can't wait to load a different dotRBA into it and have to readjust the adapter... Lol.
Yes, I’m using the adapter with the TMD Dot tank. It was a bit of a pain.

Rossum has been doing long term testing with his spare batteries. His test results led me to buying a bunch of spares. As long as they are stored in a cool dry place they will last.
Yeah, it was Rossum's testing that persuaded me to stock up. Also the fact that the LG's I used for years disappeared and I ran short when Covid had messed up the supply of batteries. All I could find from the approved list was Molicels. Once things eased up I decided to start using 10A3500 batteries and grabbed a bunch of them. I figure if there can be supply problems once it can happen again. A 2 year supply in the fridge is reassuring. Sounds like they can last quite a few years stored the right way.

I hate when I order stuff and it takes so long to arrive that I really don’t want it by then. I am thinking about putting an unopened sxmini vi class with adapter and the spare sleeve on the classifieds. I barely use the first one and shouldn’t have ordered a second one.
