It gets better. There have been a couple of times (at other schools) where we were called on the radio to respond to the front office. Student is going nutso and all we can do is stand there and watch. We can't touch 'em, either, unless they're about to do grave bodily harm to someone. At that point, our solution is rather permanent and hopefully we'll never have to get to that point.

B&Ms are more or less wastelands these days unless you find one that keeps their old stock. Your only hope is online i suspect.

The way it seems to me is new vapers cut their teeth on disposables in the back of the boy’s room in school, and dont know how to use rebuildable and coil cartridge stuff. And the manufacturers make multiple times as much money from it so they aren’t going to help.

I bought a bunch of Geek Vape mods before they started to get a bad reputation. They have taken a lot of use and abuse. The TC on one of them has died but it still works in power mode. The people who reported bad service also mentioned problems with the mods, but mine have been great

Me too. I’m really aggravated about it. Of course the heat is back this week and I can’t use the sprinkler on that side until they come back. Hopefully it’s tomorrow but the guy didn’t say when I texted him. I have no idea how much they are going to charge. He didn’t tell me yet how much today’s fix was. Really doesn’t matter. It has to be fixed.

No. My township was founded a long time ago when Indianapolis was a small town down the road. Then it grew and we were stranded inside the city. It was a piece of land in a loop in the river and a canal closing it in, with one small bridge over the canal to get in and out. It was mostly fishing cabins, plus a brothel. Some of the cabins were owned by politicians or other important people so they arranged for it to keep its separate status.

The other townships will either be incorporated into a nearby regular town, or be the responsibility of the county. Either way someone else will be responsible for the cost of running them. They tend to be very efficient with their budgets so it will cost someone a lot to take them over. That's our trump card at the moment. Lots of ...... off calls to politicians telling them to fix the mess.

The original part of my house was a fishing cabin, that's now just a bathroom and a bedroom. I redid all the walls and ceilings 25 years ago. In the original section the walls were paneled. I pulled off the panels and there was drywall underneath. It was the first type of drywall ever sold. 3 feet by 18" pieces. They were thick and lumpy in the middle and tapered down towards the edges. And the cedar siding outside was nailed directly to the studs with no backing under it. I replaced the drywall and the siding.

It doesn’t end there. The sprinkler guys came and fixed it today. So I mowed tonight and tested the sprinklers. Evidently we nicked the pipe on the opposite side of the house. I turned that zone on and water started bubbling out of the ground right beside the gate post. I texted the sprinkler guy and he’s going to send them back.

When we were digging post holes the other day, we hit a sprinkler line so I had the sprinkler guys come today and fix it. I tried them when I got home tonight and there’s a leak on the opposite side. Evidently we just grazed the side of the pipe when we dug the hole. So now I have to have them come back.

Well if everything changed when you stopped then I’d probably go back to it.
