► SMOK X-Priv Plus Kit; Bottom & Top:
The top of the Mod houses a centered 510 steel plate, it can accommodate tanks up to 29mm in diameter and without external protrusions. In addition, the 510 threaded base is compatible with all vaporizers with a 510 connection. The plate is held to the Mod by three French screws and is slightly raised to prevent the paint from being scratched during the installation of the tank. The pin is spring-loaded, gold-plated and the threading of the thread is smooth and smooth. The bottom of the X-Priv Plus has a wide support base that gives it good stability, there is also a recess to insert a nail and easily remove the cover of the compartment/batteries.

Both panels have a curved shape in the center that adapts to the palm of the hand. Both cell slots are marked with the reference polarity, furthermore the lower pins are spring loaded to allow you to easily insert the cells, the strap comes in handy when it is time to remove the cells.
► SMOK X-Priv Plus Kit; TF-D Tank:
The X-Priv Plus Kit includes the latest tank called TF-D with a capacity of up to 5.5ml and with the second curved glass supplied. The charging system involves sliding the top cap and this happens effortlessly. To add e-liquid, the Tank has a slot equipped with an anti-leak membrane as the liquid can only enter through the tip of most e-liquid bottles available on the market. The airflow regulation is done via two large fully adjustable air intakes that are positioned on the top (Top AFC) also in this case the system guarantees a watertight seal. The design of the airflow regulation ring is interesting, similar to a "heat sink"
In the image below you can see the TF-D Tank completely disassembled. I share Smok's idea of equipping the TF-D with a second curved glass that increases its capacity. The drip tip is of the 810 type without an o-ring seal which is instead present inside the Top cap. The D-coils are inserted from the bottom once the base is unscrewed. Looking inside the tank you can see two slots that convey the air from top to bottom and directly towards the coil.
► SMOK X-Priv Plus Kit; D-Coils:
The D-Coils line consists of three different resistors for a power between 25 and 65W. At the moment this line is fully compatible with TF-D Tank. Smok has expressly created the D-Coils with an advanced atomization technology to remain at the top of the performance in terms of flavor, but also in search of maximum durability. The specific thermostable and antibacterial cotton is distributed accurately in the spacing and thickness of the fibers above the coils' mesh to obtain a balanced delivery and rapid saturation, while improving the atomization efficiency and the duration of the coils. Furthermore, the D-Coils are equipped with 4 Oring's to avoid any e-liquid leakage. In the X-Priv Plus Kit package we will therefore find two coils included;
• D-Coil Meshed 0.23Ω (45-55W):
With this coil the optimal power reported is 50W, of course you can lower the power or raise it up to the maximum limit indicated on the resistance. The extraordinary reactivity of the mesh allows satisfactory use even with significantly lower selected powers, however the recommended range seems to be really perfect for the best balance between performance and duration. The vaporization is always fluid and without spitting even by restricting the airflow, also even using the maximum power the heat generated is really low and you will not get any discomfort to the lips. With a best of 50W the dual 18650 battery manages this power very well all day long.
• D-Coil Meshed 0.15Ω (55-65W pre-installed):
With this coil the optimal power of 60W seems to be perfect, of course you can lower the power or raise it up to a suggested limit of 65W. The extraordinary reactivity of the mesh allows satisfactory use even with very low selected powers. With the AFC set to 50% of the opening degree, this coil proves to be very generous in terms of vapor emission and aromatic performance. DTL lovers can fully open the airflow for really deep and fluid inhalations accompanied by large and tasty clouds of vapor, but even by slightly closing the flow, vapers will always get a fluid and clean draw without spitting. The flavor is really robust and concentrated compared to other types of coils that I normally use. The heat generated by the Tank is never excessive.
► SMOK X-Priv Plus Kit; Final conclusions:
The zinc alloy frame of the X-Priv Mod is certainly not a feather, however, the SMOK X-Priv Plus Mod with its compact size and ergonomic design has brilliantly solved the problem of handling, the SMOK X-Priv Plus is not so uncomfortable and true "cloud hunters" will not have too many problems. However, a thought for the purchase of X-Priv Plus could also be made by MTL / RDL Vapers or by those who want an exaggeratedly long autonomy with low selected powers. In the image below you can admire X-Priv Plus with the original TF-D Tank and you can also see X-Priv Plus with a 24mm Mtl tank.
The captivating appearance of X-Priv Plus is amplified by the expertly decorated magnetic battery cover. The cover joins in a stable "all in one" with the frame. The Touch type color monitor is large in size, and this makes it easy to read the data, furthermore there are three different selectable themes, a spatial animation and few other functions, if not that of puff reset and Mod lock. The large side bar is really comfortable to reach with your fingers, it is really in a fantastic position to make vaping very comfortable! The two external 18650 batteries offer a long life. The chip manages a balanced and stable discharge curve, so even with very low battery levels I did not notice any drops in power. In conclusion I can only recommend you to buy this Kit because in its price range it is absolutely a winner.
