Has anyone tried making their own "hot" whiskey flavour?

So,

I was looking at some flavorings, and I saw that The Flavor Apprentice has a burbon flavour, a cinnamon flavour, and a red hot cinnamon flavour.

I was thinking of maybe mixing the burbon and cinnamon red hot flavours together, and making a spicy whiskey flavour.

has anyone done this before? and what percentages/ratios of burbon to cinnamon would you recommend? I am originally thinking 80/20, 80% burbon, and 20% cinnamon red hot.
Fireball:
Bourbon(Kentucky)-fw-3%
Cinnamon red hots-tfa-1.5%
Milk flavor-fa-2%
Rum(Jamaica)-2.3%
Sweet cream-fw-2%
The first time I mixed this, I used 2.5% cinnamon red hots. It was too strong for me, maybe start cinnamon red hots at 1% and go from there.

Pics of your EDC II

Range report..... Yeah, the trigger is pretty heavy. Groupings were not up to my usual standard. Ordered an Apex trigger for it yesterday and it should be here within a few days. Otherwise, it's a pretty nice pistol. Looking forward to getting the new trigger in and putting a few more hundred rounds through it. I expect the accuracy to tighten up quite a bit once that's done. This will most likely become my new duty weapon once it's all dialed in.

Eleaf iORE Mix Pod by Infinium

Tu1eb0v.png

After a bit of copy-pasting into the pod market, an Eleaf product officially launched yesterday that breaks the monotony. The iORE Mix, which from the photos looks no different from the usual hybrid MTL-RDL pods. But upon extracting the pod, the magic: a dual, independent tank that allows you to load two different liquids and, with a few clicks, choose which one to use or even use them simultaneously in dual coil. It's not the first time a manufacturer has tried this, but on a functional level, everything runs smoothly without a hitch. The iORE Mix was provided by Eleaf as a gift, and there is no working relationship or monetary compensation involved.

The Eleaf iORE Mix weighs 67 grams and has dimensions of 37 x 18.5 x 105 mm. It has a 1100 mAh battery, a maximum output of 24 watts. The dual independent pods are 2 ml each, for a total of 4 ml. The packaging is almost all-white and, as is now a trend, the content is minimal to reduce costs and allow the iORE Mix to have a price in line with disposables. Besides the iORE Mix, the box contains the user manual and the Eleaf warranty.

First look at the iORE Mix Pod, with its glossy black plastic structure that holds the two separate mini pods. They are 2 ml each, one gray and the other a yellow color similar to ultem. Each has its own mini-coil with cotton and a separate mesh section, as well as its own separate refill cap, so you can use two different liquids if you want.

The two mini pods are extracted from the side and are held in place by simple friction. This operation is not necessary for refilling but should be done occasionally for any condensation. You can also see by looking at the yellow mini pod that each pod has its own independent vapor outlet hole for a reason that is soon explained.

The drip tip is also proportional to the rest, very large and with a dual vapor outlet hole. Each hole is in fact "connected" to its pod, and depending on which of the two is activated, the vapor exits from only one hole. If both are activated, the vapor exits from both. In detail, the system also slides onto the back of the mini pod and must be aligned with the main structure.

If both tanks are inserted correctly and flush with the main structure, they appear as follows. Both coils are 1 Ohm. Out of the maximum 24 watts, it should output (approximately) 12 - 13 with a single pod active. If both are active, depending on how charged the battery is, you should hit exactly twenty watts, which still feels like more since you are vaping in dual coil. Unfortunately, Eleaf is not very clear on this.

The pod housing, of course, also has everything in duplicate compared to standard pods. There are 4 spring-loaded pins for reading, 4 magnets to hold everything in place, and a dual sensor for the automatic draw, which is the only one available. You can see later that those windows allow you to check the liquid level without removing the pod. The pod block can be inserted in either direction, just remember in case of using different liquids which way you inserted the pod and which liquid corresponds to the right pod and which to the left.

The USB Type-C port is in an unprecedented position, installed on the back of the iORE Mix, which supports 1A charging. For the 1100 mAh battery, it takes about an hour with a good quality USB Type-C cable. In its promotional flyers, Eleaf even says that with about 25 minutes of charging, you get to about 90% charge, since in batteries used for vaping, much of the charging time slows down to avoid stressing the battery itself and preventing overloads. I've never tried it or paid attention, but as a number, it seems closer to a 2A device.

On both sides, there are two inserts that allow air to enter. They are fixed and not adjustable. This is an (almost) open MTL setup, even if the wide drip tip makes everything feel more open. Despite the disappearing pod, Eleaf has created two windows on both sides to allow you to see the liquid level.

vc0qy62.jpeg

The front side has a dual LED indicator that serves both to show which of the two pods (or both) are active and the remaining battery charge:100 - 30% white indicator30 - 0% red indicatorBelow them, a button with a chrome finish that varies depending on the chosen color. It allows you to select which pod is in use and to turn the device on and off, and as a reminder, the only draw is automatic, so it does not function as a fire button.

xXBGD0I.jpeg

There's little to report on the base, other than the CE mark and disposal symbol. It can stand up, and it's quite stable since the battery is installed right at the bottom. Despite its "light" weight, there are no sections for a lanyard.

pXOIip7.png

Despite the lack of a screen, the circuit still has more than a few button combinations to decide which pod is firing:
5 clicks to turn on and off
2 clicks to change which pod is firing with a choice between:

firing only from the left pod
firing only from the right pod
firing from both pods
firing from a single pod, but automatically alternating by the circuit

The only other specification is the 10-second cutoff, and various short-circuit and overcharge protections.

The most sensible use I found for the Eleaf iORE Mix is for those who like to alternate between two liquids during the day (for example, a tobacco after coffee/meals and a fruit one during normal breaks) all in one device. The dual mini pod function is nice the first few times, but when both are active, the vapor is really too much for my taste. In the scenario above, with one pod loaded with a tobacco and the other with fruit, you can actually taste both, but in a different way than having a pre-flavored tobacco. It's a concept to be developed. I noticed good potential since it's a pod of fairly contained dimensions. The 1100 mAh battery is not a lot but still enough when you consider the 4 ml capacity. We'll see how Eleaf manages this new series, if there will be new battery body entries with more capacity or airflow or a more developed circuit. For now, it's a nice device between novelty and possibilities that other pods don't have, and it winks at those who use disposables, offering the possibility of a dual liquid and perhaps, leading them down the right path.

Nice and thorough review of this innovative device!
