We get the tiny ants here but as long as I’ve been here there have been no big ones.
I bought this stuff last year that’s good for ants and termites. It’s pretty strong. You only use 1/2 an ounce to one gallon of water in a pump sprayer. I went out and sprayed the foundation and around the kitchen window. We get tiny ants in the spring, then early summer they take off and the big ants move in. Except last year the big ones never showed up and the little ones were there all summer. The big ants are easy to deal with because they hit the ant poison traps, the little ones won't go for any poison. I kill them with cedar oil spray when they get too pesky. Rinsing the dirty dishes and cleaning the countertop frequently seems to help.
They seem to come in from behind the frame of the kitchen window. I did think about spraying outside the window but that's part of the fenced in area where the dogs hang out.

Each spring we get ants. I bought some heavy duty spray for outside around the foundation that I'll mix up and spray tonight. Each spring it's like a week or so then the ants go away. I doubt we've killed them all.
I also have 4 21700’s.I have 5 in use old batteries that will be retired sometime soon. I have 4 batteries in use that are fairly new. Then I have 14 old/new batteries. So this pretty much means that I have 18 batteries that are new or fairly so.. Soooooo do you think I need more????
My pleasure,Blackmore lived in Stamford for quite a few years. He used to show up at a little bar named Rapson's fairly often, and sometimes he'd step in and play with whatever band was playing that night. Most of the time though, he just listened and drank (like the rest of us).
Linda Blair was a semi-regular there too, back in her big partying days.
Hm. I'd forgotten all about both of those things. Funny what a simple post can do. Thanks, @kas122461 .
I have a 14 yr old ggd that plays the sax.My parents started me on piano lessons in first grade. I kept up with piano lessons until my late teens. In third grade I started guitar lessons and in fifth grade saxophone lessons. Studied sax at the Chicago Conservatory of Music for four years (jazz and classical). Also private lessons with the Chicago symphony principal clarinet player who also played saxophones. I still play all three instruments and some other ones.
Also play Native American Flutes. I had a few custom made in different tunings. This one is Western Red Cedar, tuned to concert F and has a bear totem.

My instruments were made by R. Carlos Nakai's (Navajo-Ute) flute maker. Nakai is a classically trained musician. He's released a lot of albums with many musicians, the majority are not classical releases, although he does have two classical releases.
R. Carlos Nakai with Peter Kater . . .

Had a Baby Grand Piano growing up and folks decided I needed piano lessons even if I didn't want. Got pretty decent at it before I left. Father was really good on the piano.

It is not necessarily the material that makes it expensive, a block of aluminum or ss304 is 10-20$, a relatively cheap stabwood block is 30-40$.Why are most stabwoods so expansive?
Is it the material or because most of them are hand made?
Looks cool tho, kinda want one now lol
