Hi amy, Welcome to ECF. Im one of the U.K group that answered your post. Things can get lost pretty fast on this forum so try subscribing to the threads you want to keep track of (you can do this by using Thread Tools at the top of thread).
That way you can just click on subscribed threads(found in quick links in blue bit at top of page) and it will show all the threads you have subscribed to, so you don't have to spend hours searching for that post that's now hiding on page 5 somewhere. Just a tip that made this forum so much easier for me.

Yes, that could work...be careful though. I'd recommend giving that magnet a wrap with electrical tape (so the outside edges can't touch the side of the mod if it gets loose and moves) and then trimming so the top and bottom of the magnet are bare.
