Thanks for the info! I ended up tossing it shortly after I sent that message. It started tasted weird. Thanks for all of your information out here about carto tanks. It's the reason I bought a carto tank and fell in love with them. I now have a couple of cheapie Boge tanks and 4 OCD tanks with 2 more on the way!

Bad carto? There shouldn't be that much flucuation of resistance, the coil likely has a short. Toss it.

Ok... So I'm using a Boge SR carto in an OCD tank from ibtanked on my MVP 2.0. The resistance keeps changing anywhere from 4.4-7.0??? Should I toss it and start with a new one? What would cause it to do that?

Hey there OCD! I received my second ibtanked order toast and both of my tanks are scratched. I have pictures but I can't figure out how to attach them. I now have a total of 4 tanks and the first two were fine. I was going to place an order for another 2 today but wanted to know if the scratched tanks are something that happens or if they shouldn't be like that. I literally just got them in the mail less than an hour ago. I rinsed them and was putting them back together when I noticed the scratches. Please let me know if there is an email I can send the pics to. I also sent a message through your website.

I love your tanks, just not the scratches!
