TLDR: These are hands down the best out of the box results I have seen from from a cheaper mod so far. Compare the result to the DNA 75 and its not too far off in most states imgur.com/a/7Pe3Gad. You could argue this is better than a DNA out of the box because you dont have to do anything to ensure its pretty much accurate (A DNA mod requires the Steam Engine SS316L profile to be installed via escribe for best accuracy...anyone who says DJacquith or stock should see my test results on those profiles before commenting).

This Aegis Solo looks like a better result than previous Geekvape tests like the G-Box reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comments/gf5pft./temperature_control_testing_results_geekvape_gbox/.

I am told there are two different types of boards running different Geekvape mods so maybe check before applying this result to other Geekvape mods. The controller in this mod is as follows I believe: ARM Cortex-M0 Nuvoton NUC220LE3AN. I think the other mods with this controller include the Aegis Mini/Nova/Max, ONLY! Without this component, the Geekvapes dont appear to perform well.

TLDR: I bought this little mod for merely $15 bucks in a sale, and yet other than one (repeatedly tested) very different outcome for a (rarely realistic) completely dry MTL coil, it performs very well as a temperature control device, with good power (unless youre a very high mass dual coil vaper, in which case you need a dual cell mod), tight and accurate temperature control that is arguably largely comparable to DNA in most states (see imgur.com/a/EOL9hRE for current DNA series comparison). Its hard to beat in terms of price for performance...lets see how the stock firmware compares in an upcoming test. This Arctic Fox firmware provides a lot of the functionality of a DNA device, its free, and its compatible with a lot of Eleaf, Wismec and Joyetech mods! More testing required to see if it holds up across that range.

Hi everyone, let me start off saying the Unico Mod Pod is the best vape i have ever used .the taste is better and i love you predict how strong you want it to be.i started having problems with mine on monday with my magents coming out and now i cant get the mouth piece to lock in place and because of that i can only get 20w out of 49w .im wondering if anyone has had the same issues .

When I unpacked these new SMOK kits, my first concern was to verify that all the salient strengths that made VooPoo's Drag-S and Drag-X so popular were present.

Yes, compared to the competition, SMOK has maintained its strengths and successes such as: magnetic circular Pod, large liquid capacity of the pod, ergonomic line of devices, AFC adjustment, attractive design and use of precious materials ...

What makes the new SMOK Thallo S 100W & Thallo 80W devices special is mainly that they have adopted a large 21700 battery (Thallo S 100W) and an equally large 3,000mAh built-in battery on the Thallo 80W.

Another pleasant surprise that SMOK has FINALLY reserved for us is the possibility of being able to change the Drip-Tip 510 to our liking, a particular not insignificant and certainly appreciated by everyone.



The tactile sensation of the materials is the same (positive) found with the competition in the previous tests ... Faced with the larger size of the batteries used, these two Smok devices compared to the Drag-X / S have undergone a natural and slight change in their size and design, while remaining very manageable and aesthetically pleasing without excess.



Both devices on the front have a 0.96-inch color display, the adjustment keys and the fire button are made of plastic, are slightly protruding and all quite comfortable to click.
The USB Type-C charging port is positioned at the bottom, so you can keep your devices standing while charging.

The handle is more rounded than the "thinner" devices of the competition, the soft PU leather used as a coating has beautiful liquid patterns of colors and is always pleasant to the touch.



The main visual difference in the design of Thallo S & Thallo (compared to competitors) can be seen on the side profiles, in fact the front panel that houses the control panel is more protruding than the central body, this is certainly due to the fact that with the use of larger batteries had to find the right space to house the chipset.

At the bottom, on the side profile of the front panel, the SMOK logo and the words Thallo or Thallo S (depending on the version) are shown.

- Tropics, berries [strawberry, raspberry, mango pineapple etc. etc.] should be in the upper-middle notes.


Spices: 2
- Respectively alcoholic, woody [Ex. Oak Wood by TPA], coconut, hazelnut, peanut [nutty flavors] should be in the middle-bottom notes (they should taste tamed).
- Hot spices such as cinnamon / clove must be found in the bottom notes.


Sweets: 1
- Natural / Sharp fruit sweetness and ripe fruit taste should never be found.
- Artificial and smooth confectionary flavors (not sugariness) can be found in mid-bottom notes.
- The sweetness (sweetener) should be at the bottom if the juice has sweetener.
- I stay away from Vanilla Custard, but Vanillin (TPA) can be tried.

Note: They got Vanilin (TPA) and Vanilla Bourbon flavors in Castle Long, i think it tastes pretty OK and kinda ADV in Castle Long but vanilla custards or other vanillas in different juices taste kinda heavy/waxy/milky idk why.

- There can be a trace amount of WS-23 or different Menthol / Mint / Coolant for a complementary or cold feeling in the bottom notes.
- Note: If there is too much; juices taste like .... and it mutes everything.
- Heisenberg's coolant is kinda ok but not for my taste tho.


What i tested:

Castle Long: I loved that bourbon and oak taste but Coconut is little heavy for me to being an true ADV.

Unicorn Milk: I like that confectionary strawberry however its tooo damn sweet and it makes me want to throw up after vaping 5-8 puffs cuz i cloud chase with an RDA.

Blue Voodoo: Confectionary peach and raspberry is awesome but it tastes like an ****ing sherbet.It is overly sweet and it almost tastes like an smooth peach and raspberry juice with 2kg's of sugar added in by a mistake.

Tribeca by Halo: Its nutty and waxy makes me nauseous after 10 puffs

OHW island man: It was not overly sweet if i don't misremember. but it had a little weird taste in it. overal taste was 8/10 i could vape that juice ALL Week!

big drip farleys gnarly juice: it was awesome but too sweet i think. but i vaped the whole 10ml bottle in 1-2 hours
