Aegis pod is very compact device, dimensions of this device are 88.1mm x 40.3mm x 18mm. You can buy this device in 4 different colors. As any other device from aegis series, this pod system is waterproof, shockproof and dustproof which is really good. On one side of the device you can see "Aegis", from the other side you can see "Geekvape". Design of the device is really nice in my opinion and I really like that this device looks as other aegis devices, on the device you can see leather that looks really nice. Build quality is really good, really well built device. In the package with this device you will receive two coils which is really nice in my opinion.









Let's start with cartridge, so from the top side of the cartridge you can see the mouthpiece and mouthpiece is very comfortable for using. From the bottom of the cartridge you can change the coil and as I said in the package with this device you will receive two coils. Both coils are the same, resistance of the coil is 0.6ohm and this is a g. coil which means that this coil is compatible with many future products from geekvape which is really nice. In the package you will also receive tool so you can easier replace the coils. Considering that this is a pod system, I need to say this because of beginners, before you fill the cartridge you need to prime the coil with few drops of e liquid and then put the coil inside and fill the cartridge. From the bottom of the cartridge you can see the plug and when you pull the plug you can see the fill hole. Fill hole is big and you can fill the cartridge without any problems. Capacity of the cartridge is 3.5ml which is really good capacity in my opinion. On one side of the cartridge you can see airflow slot and you can't adjust airflow here. Cartridge stays really nice in place and we have no magnets here.












From the top side of the device you can see slot for the cartridge and inside you can see the connection. From the bottom of the device you can see the usb c port which is really nice. You will use this port to charge the battery, this device has built in battery and capacity of the battery is 800mah which is really nice capacity for small device. This device has constant output mode which many people will like. On one side of the device you can see the fire button, you can turn off and turn on the device with 5 clicks on the fire button. The fire button is protruding and it is slightly clicky. The fire button works really good and so far I didn't have any problems. On the fire button you can see led light as battery indicator which is really nice in my opinion.

My thoughts:


So, Geekvape aegis is one really well build pod system, build quality of the device is really good, it is dustproof, waterproof and shockproof. In the package you will receive two coils which is really nice. The mouthpiece is very comfortable for using and capacity of the cartridge is 3.5ml which is good capacity for small device. You can pretty much easy fill the cartridge and also you can really easy change the coil. The cartridge stays really nice in the place and there is no chance that it can fall out randomly. This deivice is compatible with g coils which is good because future geekvape products will be compatible with g coils. This device has built in battery, capacity of the battery is 800mah which is good capacity for this device in my opinion and we have here usb type c port. The fire button is good and so far I didn't have any problems. I really like that this device has battery indicator. On the website you can see that this device has constant output working mode and when light is red you can feel the difference. So, I tried here 0.6ohm coils and I can say that this device performs really good, vapor production is good, I tried here 3mg liquid, creamy strawberry flavor and flavor on this device is really good. Airflow here is for restrictive direct lung draw, personally I use this device that way, but if you want you can use it as very loose mtl device. I would really like that we can here adjust the airflow but we can't, so in my opinion this is only con here. Device is really comfortable for using, it is small and very well built device.
So, geekvape aegis is pretty much good device in my opinion and you can try it if you like loose mtl draw or restrictive dtl draw.

So i run a smok tfv16 and a aegis x . My best wattage for my coil is set to 120, when i vape my mod does random wattage. For instance 1 time it will be between 60 - 80 then it will be at 95 - 110

It fits, fine. But has anybody ever got this combo to work? No matter what I do the mod can't detect the tank with the adapter installed. Any ideas?

Lately I've found myself rewicking my RTAs very frequently, so much so that I've had to start using some of my old tanks just to get 1-2 days worth of vaping. I got a new tank today and after putting 30ml of liquid through it the wicks seem almost new. I used to be able to go for a week or longer on a single tank without rewicking, now I only get about 5 hours before I have to switch to a new tank. I rewick them all at the same time, and when I do the wicks are almost completely black and the coil is covered in residue, which I burn off by dry burning (must have dry burned each coil at least 50 times now), then I rinse the coils off. I'm using stainless steel coils with 4 flat cores wrapped with thin round wire.

Has anybody noticed that coils that have been in use for a long time make wicks age faster?

I know the 25r is a 20amp battery use them all the time. I got a pair last year that were 25c. But I cant find info on the amp rating. Anybody know this battery? @Mooch ?

Hi!

I have been vaping for close to 7 years now, went through a mad buying spree for the first 3 or 4 years till I found the PT4 and haven't bought a new tank since then.

The PT4 was the first tank that had nothing wrong with it. It is however 2020and I'm wondering if there's anything around now that is worth upgrading to?

I am a DL vaper, I use .5Ohm ss coils on the PT. I vape either menthol or unflavoured 70 30 pg dominant juice at 20 watts.

The features I love of the PT4 are it's its simplicity, functionality, ease of use, easy to fill, large 4ml capacity, readily available, long lasting coils, so I would want a new tank to have most of those features.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a geek vape/Regis Mod, 80 watt...the kind where you just plug in to charge. After changing coil after I vape and let it set a bit the when I try to vape the screen says..no screen? Old? New? and numbers for previous coil and new coil. I just don't understand why this happens. If I push the left bottom button to turn heat up it down ut displays that message quite often.

My question:
I have SEVERAL Smok Nords; all of which have 'slipped pins'.
Typically the middle pin is the one no longer having a connection with the coil.
In most cases I have wiggled out the round part of the coil...(not too far!), and that had allowed the middle pin to connect and vape on. Now, it's happening with all of my Nords, and with not just the middle pin! Ahrrrrgghh. I saw one person who added foil to the slipped pin. Another's suggestion was to put solder onto pin to build it up.
I hope someone can PLEASE help me! I Love my Nords, and lately this slippage deal is frustrating!
