Do I really want one?

I just had my half year (my ticker is from day I started vaping but I had 3 packs left and smoked 2/3 a day til mid April) vape-adversary and I hadn't wanted a provari but now I'm considering it. I also need to buy some extra batteries and restock some things but I went gangbusters and bought a lot up front and given my newbie stuff to mom ( who has never quit in almost 50yrs and she's been vaping since June! Yay mom!) and a guy at work (on 2 weeks!) and really haven't bought much even juice because I have a backlog.
i own 2 sigeleis and use my mini in 18490 mode 90% of the time. I also have a Nintendo DNA mod which gets less use due to battery life but I actually like it better.
i have 2 pro tanks which are "ehhhh" and a gaggle of evods which are my fav right now. I haven't dabbled in carto tanks and was considering getting my first rebuild able soon. Genny style.
ive been eyeballing a mpv2 since I like my boxy mod better than my round, plus the charge my cell off it might be nice in a pinch ( but let's be honest, as part of the generation that grew up before cells I'd sacrifice cell over vape! Lol)

i know now I need a ego adapter for my Nintendo, and would need one for a provari since I do like evods, and obviously a provari is much more than a mpv.....
my vape budget hands are doing some weighing and I'm on the fence....

ive "saved" over 2k now, and haven't bought much of anything in months....
but I spent a good bit starting out (more than broke even tho, probably 700 and only because I bought Nintendo mod!) and I just paid a lawyer 10k going after my ex on stuff and I'm not 100% done yet but at very end, and he's been ordered to pay me the 3k in medical and 4k on my legal fees, so most of it will come back.

why should I get one? Will it be a good fit? Should I go cheap and just go mpv or save that for my yearish cornerstone?

I'm a relatively new vaper, and I can't say I've tried everything, but given what I've tried so far (none of the rebuildables, but do I REALLY want to go through that much trouble and time every day?), I'd buy a MVP2 and a Provari. Then get a couple of Aspire ET-S for the MVP and a carto tank for the Provari. I'm sure everyone will have their own opinions, and I'm curious to see them too, but those are fabulous options to start, and between them, you can try out every tank type and power setup, with 2 of the most dependable batteries of their type that will cover all threading except the really teeny ones.

I bought my ProVari for my 6 month celebration. I wanted something special as a reward for my accomplishment. I had eGo Twists at that point and there weren't as many options as there are now. It came down to a Vamo or a ProVari (I didn't know about bottom-feeders then). I researched them, watched the videos, did my homework, but in the end, I didn't like the Vamo's finish. I bit the bullet and bought a ProVari.

I thought I was insane to spend that much money on what could well be a flashlight, but I haven't regretted it. I like how it looks, I really like how it feels and I haven't had a single problem with it. That's all I care about. I don't give a flying fruit bat about VV vs VW vs dna20 vs whatever the latest thing is; I don't wrap coils or anything fancy, I just vape.

I don't know if you really want one. I'm not going to try and sell you on it. You know what your requirement are, or have an idea of what they are. I didn't have to worry about an eGo connection, since I primarily use carto tanks and EVODS didn't exist at the time. I can say it's nice to have with me for protection. You can bash a mugger's brains in with it.

I'm not you but it sounds like you've thought it out and if you're planning on vaping long term, you won't regret buying one. I got mine right when I first started vaping. There's nothing I hate more than broken equipment.

Great vape and twists and spinners are much easier to adjust for anyone really, so good for beginners. I sent one to my mom (she lives in Chicago area) and loaned one to coworker. The zmaxs are good and get the job done, and have ego threads and the mini I got for like 30 bucks shipped from coop. Keep thinking might be time for big girl mod

I expect they will be similar in size to zmax using same batteries, when I started the egos seemed huge and didn't think I could use big mod, now I like them!
I ment big girl mod as in a little spendier. I know I'll be doing this awhile and it works for me. Hard to spend 100+ cash when you are unsure if vaping can get you to quit smoking

First off, yes buy a Provari Mini, i love mine. But as a personal suggestion stay away from a genesis. I own 3 of them and I never ever use them. If you don't mind spending a bit of money on am amazing atty that looks great on a Provari get one of these. http://www.byleo.eu/THE_DRIPPER_PRO/p2043631_9526444.aspx You'll have to learn how to join non resistance wire and resistance wire (or buy ready made wires from I think stormys vapor cellar ?) but it's well worth it. It's an amazing vape and it almost never leaves my Provari. Besides, a Mini can be taken to full size with an extension, and even longer with a bottom ring and an extension if you feel like using an 18650 battery instead of the 18350 or 18490.

If you want one and it will make you happy and content go for it. You will never find anyone who says that they regret buying a Provari, no one. They truly are IMHO the epitome of a regulated tube mod. I was into the mechs and the gennies and all the rebuilding; but since I have gotten the Provari I still use the ZAP but having carto tanks loaded and lined up with different juices to vape in an instant satisfies me fully. At this point between my Provari and a Reo I can't see how my vaping experience could be any better.

My choice to join the ranks of the ProVarinati had nothing to do with being a 6 months reward. It was just part of my plan to move up from the clones. Got "The Don" a couple of months ago to start moving up from the mech mod clones for starters. Now it was time to move up from the VV/VW clone. Don't get me wrong, the Sigelei mech mods and Zmax V5 have been great devices, they still are. I just wanted better, I wanted American made. When H2o Front posted pictures of his new Stealth Mini a few days ago, I pulled the trigger. Boy did I pull the trigger... I bought two. That new Stealth Mini and one that is still a secret (until this weekend anyway). LOL

I dove in, I'm stoked for doing it. You just have to follow your heart basyilica.

I'm not here to sell you on the idea of buying a ProVari. I think if one is asking, then they pretty much already know what they're going to do and reaching out for opinions only helps solidify the yes decision you've already made in your head.


I bought a ProVari Mini for no other reason than I wanted one. It didn't matter to me how many other mods I have. I've been vaping for 2 months and have spent $2500. to find what works for me. I am not over the moon about my devices having variable voltage AND variable wattage. I adjust according to taste and (IMO) all that stuff only matters to people who cant seem to live without it.
I have a Segelei Zmax that is VV/VW- I might pick it up once a week purely out of nostalgia. I bought a mech just to get it out of my system.

I told myself I never wanted to be bothered with rebuildables. They *looked* intimidating then one day I said what the hell and bought one. Now, that's all I use aside from the (1) EVOD and T3S I have left. I've given away every Protank and Puritank I had.
I still have a bunch of cartos sitting around- haven't put much thought to what I'm going to do with them but they were part of that $2500 which showed me, I don't really care for cartos despite all this about "it's the best vape".....not for me.

I bought a REO Grand for no other reason than I wanted one. It's a bottom feeder. Sure there are bottom feeding attachments I could add to any tube mod but I think those things look hideous. I prefer a more minimal look.
I still have an eGo I use from time to time- everything serves a purpose.

Overall I am completely happy with my 2 main devices- now I just go crazy buying juice.

I bought a ProVari for my one year anniversary. I wish I had done it sooner. My next mod after my ProVari was....another ProVari.

It is a great device for an experienced vapor and may well be a device you find useful for the rest of your vaping days.

I use an RBA and the ProVari works great (unless you want to do sub-ohm) for RBAs. I don't want to do sub-ohm. To me, having regulated voltage that is exactly the same on the first puff as it is on the last puff is far more useful than a bit more vapor from a .5 ohm coil. In any case, I recommend you get one. Good luck, do your research, and make the right decision for you.

I think it is absolutely worth it. When you use cheapish mods like I do, you'll start to notice their downfall almost immediately.

Each mod I pick up, it feels like there is voltage drop that I cannot possibly control and the build quality does not feel as good.

With a Provari, you pay more. However, you get amazing build quality, an amazingly consistent vape and peace of mind IF anything goes wrong.

I love mine and so glad I invested in one. I got the satin SS mini w/extension in polished silver and Blue LED-awesome mod!
I'm doing the tank hunt now and just tried the carto tank..I'm hooked! Bought two IBtanks and a little nervous to load/prime them but excited because I know it will be the vape I'm looking for.

If I get one I'd go full size because I like the 490 life on my zmax and the 650, but not a big fan of 350s, and I'm fine with a bigger mod so no need to go small!

On a side note like most women I've been wearing the wrong size bra and I knew it, but I gave up trying to find my actual size before my kiddos were born and stuck with cheap grandma 34 DDs from Bali. I went on a journey of discovery recently and found I'm a 30H or 32GG and my new goodies have been trickling in after a round of returns. I've always been a basic kind of lady, function over form, but it's so thrilling to own things that fit and are PRETTY!!! After 24yrs of white/black/nude I have purple! hot pink! houndstooth! Cherry! Russian dolls!

True story: I met my folks for dinner at a casino and afterward we gambled for a bit. They came over to where I was, but I was winning and didn't want to leave just yet. So we said our goodbyes and my mom, being a mom, told me to be careful, just as I was taking a drag off of the ProVari on a lanyard around my neck. She glanced at it and said, 'Oh that's right, you have your thing." My folks considers it a weapon of some kind.
