The CHUCK Tailcap Loaner Program

I have been thinking about this all day. Offering vented tailcaps for sale. I am not against this, but for what I would have to charge I would not be comfortable doing so.

So I propose this:
I have just made up 5 tailcaps numbered 1-5.
I will send these loaners out to the first 5 people to respond.
When you get it, send your tailcap in to be vented.
Once you receive your tailcap back, PLEASE mail the loaner to the next person in line.

Keep this going until everyone is taken care of.

This way no one has to be without their CHUCK, and no one has to spend extra $ on a new tailcap.

I will stcky this thread so everyone can correspond and arrange who is next in line.

A #4 center drill

1/8" hole



Any 1/8" drill bit will work. If you just happen to have a lathe lying around, the above is what I recommend.

And for the record there will not be a Lathe/Mill loaner program. Not now, not later, not ever!

That's okay. I wouldn't know what to do with it anyway if it arrived in the mail. (I'm guessing it shapes wood while it grinds oats.)
