Are the EVOD and Protank v2 heads the "universal" ones that can be used on either, or are they specific to the tank listed?

Evod heads can be used in protank but protank heads can't be used in evods. Or so they say. I have used the protank heads in evods and t3s but the bottom cap doesn't screw on tightly. It leaves a little gap. But they never leaked on me.
If you mean these heads - http://www.litecigusa.net/Evod_Replacement_Coils_p/kangertech-evod-coils.htm - they can be used in the EVOD, ProTank 2, Protank 2 Mini, Unitank, Unitank Mini, T3s, and MT3s.

Good to know! Have been loving the EVOD guess ill have to order a pro-tank now, lol.
Hard to say anymore. I have gotten away with swapping many into the Evod. My MT3S coils work in Evod but some of my Evod coils dont work in the MT3S. There are so many different ones out there from Kanger that pretty much its trial and error but basicly what is different it the size of rim just above the threads.
If they are the newer ones that Kanger came out with (heads/EVODS and PT), then yes they are universal.
Lol I just got through ordering the protank 3 today its nice to know what I already have is compatable plus it has duel coils you can get.
Apparently, the EVOD heads can be used on the PT3, and the dual coil heads can be used in the EVOD/Unitank/T3s/MT3s/PT2/PT Mini.

I've seen vids on YouTube showing pt3 is compatable with all previous heads. It even states as much on kangeronline.com
So it does. I stand corrected. I might pick up a dual coil head just to see if it works in my EVOD. I love experimenting!

I don't think the new head works on other pt t3 or evod tanks but plan to check that myself as well. Also plan to see if heads interchange with the aspire which from pics look the same.
Evod and protank heads are compatible, however the protank 3 coils are different. Aspire coils are a different creature and not designed to used in the kanger tanks.
