hehe, that why I feel this year was a good one, we didnt have to do that!!!

Lucky dog. I saw a Christmas card a few weeks ago that basically said on the front " this time of year we get to spend time with family and some people don't have families to spend it with" and the inside said " those lucky .......s".
right lol,
I am not always happy come xmas time, but this year was a bit different.
It was exciting and happiness was in the air.
We also had a baby boy early sat morning....so that was also a nice gift we are grateful for!
It must have helped keeping our spirits up and still high,since everything went well (and quick!)

Congrats on the new baby. I hope he takes to sleeping thru the night quickly. We were lucky with our girls.

Well, only 3 days old, but he doesnt cry so much.
Only a few yelps and then he take a rest. So far so good (fingers crossed)
He sleeps what maybe 23 hrs a day lol.
He is starting to open his eyes more often now and focus on our faces.
It has only been 2.5 yrs since our last one was born, but feels like a lifetime.

It seems like not very long ago that we brought my daughters home and now one is 13 and the other is 16.
Time goes right by so very quick!

After spending a ton of money on Xmas, I came home to my hot water heater leaking. By the time I did a little research, I found out that the hardware store closed early. I get to go in the morning to buy a new one and install it. Bummer!

water heater....That does suck, but if you are installing it yourself, your saving good money there.
There is such an advancement on water heaters it is silly, they are still cheap,
but then they go as high as the sky, so just take patience on choosing what is best.
I had to replace my boiler last year well into the 5 figures!
BUT...I wont have to replace it for the rest of my life...coal stoker boiler!

I just went with a six year warranty model. It was inexpensive and had good reviews online. Those shark bite connectors sure make plumbing easy. Just slip them onto the copper pipe and go.
