Polished or Brushed brass drip tip?

Which one gets scratches/damaged easier?..Or it'll be the same?

Revelene is right. Polished drip tips are much easier to scratch.

brushed would hide scratches it better but the polished could be sanded and buffed back out

It depends a lot on your preference, I personally dont like scratchy feeling drip tips I have a couple plastic knuckle drip tips and the texture usually ends up hitting my teeth and I feel uneasy like chewing on foil. If you looking for a brass tip to stay shiny I had one I cant remember the manufacturer that was smooth polished brass with a food safe clear coat on it so it didn't tarnish.

Brass is pretty soft, it scratches easily. Otherwise I'd pretty much echo everything above.
That same clear coat can be applied to a brushed finish and it will minimize any texturing you might feel without altering the look.

Brushed is nice for any metal objects that are exposed to wear because if the item picks up a scratch you can easily hit it with some fine steel wool, rinse it off and you're good to go again.
