Prepping Provari for paint job

So I have a satin Provari old body style that I want to paint. I want to keep the satin type of finish, and I want to make sure the paint is durable. Anyone have a how to guide to painting these things? Where to get the paint, how to prep the body, etc?

In case your wondering all the views and no replies, I don't think anyone presently here has done a paint job themselves.

We have a couple of owners of repainted ProVaris here and someone is going to send there in to have it done but otherwise...
Feel free and step forward and tell us about the improved ProVari that you did.

Look into Cerakote. It's going to involve some sanding, some disassembling & some voiding of the warranty. Can't say I'd recommend doing it, but it's your mod.

You cannot anodize stainless steel.

That seems to suggest it is out of warranty to me.

If/when I need to do one I'll have it powder coated by Count's Kustoms.

I don't know about Mezrein, but I'm to the point that it can be repainted, the old color has bin sanded of and I have removed the innards so that I have the naked steel tube and end cap.

I remember viewing gold plating done to a Provari on YouTube... The raw metal Provari would also look nice.

I'm actually going to paint a white one. Just paint over top with a gel polish. Cures with a UV light. I've been using gel polish for a few years on my fingers and toes so it shouldn't be hard but I'm going to do a rainbow grad.
