Igo s fauxgotti top cap

So now that were all basking in post sale bliss I figured if get a response if I posted this... Anyone have any experience with this cap? Do you know if drip tips fit this one better than the original cap? And more importantly, would this for a normal grand/ new woodvil?

might only work on a LP, The two lower pics say they are 16 and 17mm, stock cap is 14mm and just fits in the Woodvil

Yea that's what I feared. Le sigh.... Wonder if I could shave those extra 2 mm off the bottom of the cap...

Since it has to fit the igo s base, it has to just be a thicker cap. I'm gonna take the plunge next week and see what I can do about that. Worse comes to worse, I'll save it for my next mod that can fit a larger diameter

I don't disagree, and that looks pretty sweet, bit I like me some brass lol. All my rm2s are brass as well. It's just my way haha

I totally agree, the brass will look epic on the woodies. I have considered torching this one and putting I t on once the woody comes. I got a Birdseye maple I door, blood wood body, so if I can get a blond-red color from torching, it might look cool. Then again, I will probably screw it up and it will be purple .

Well I have a cheap dripper cap that fits on modded smok squid I use on my Grand .Ill mess around and see how some metallic brass paint looks on it .Worth a shot to see if those witha Igo s want to paint theirs to match incoming Woodvils

I just torched mine to a nice gold, was really easy Looks perfect on my woodvil
27 bucks, I could be two unmodded and play with torching and drilling out air holes for different setups.
I didn't really see anything about what it "does" on their website description

Same here. I want to torch a little more to see if I can get more gold...worst case I buy another and it goes back on the metal reo. But it's VERY easy.

I should mention. With stainless, if you go too far, it's blue/purple depending, and still cool looking.

It looks like the air hole is higher than standard on the kidney puncher brass cap, it might allow more airflow under the coil. Hard to tell without an A/B comparison what the differences (if any) would be.

Cap came today. No dice. It's thin, and it goes over the bottom lip of the base. It's a NICE cap, so when I have my Dibi in hand, gonna try the I go with brass cap on it. When I'm not vaping the igo I'll post some comparison pics

My second igo is en route. I leave town tomorrow. This weekend I will torch the brassed one going for a deeper brass look. One will be brassed, one will be blued...so I can't lose.

Mon, what is the distance from the base of the cap to the air hole?

No dice? Means no good? Oh, its too big in diameter to fit in a metal Reo or Woodvil because the cap diameter is bigger than the standard cap?
