So I just got my indulgence in and its my first mod. I got a gold, along with an hv 510 atty. I love the 6v 510, its my first 510 and absolutely love it. But I have a few questions that someone else had the same problem.

So heres how it went, was asking someone about a charger for the 16340's he told me to make sure I liked the 6v experience. I said I loved it with an HV atty, he told me try a regular atty. I threw my 510 standard atty on, no sizzle, no nothing at all. didnt move batteries. So I thought maybe its a bum attie, or I popped it. So didnt touch atty, and put the 3.7v cup on, and it worked just fine with same attie.

hmm.. weird.. threw back on 6v cup, nothing... threw back on hv atty, worked great. So did the same thing with standard 901 atty, same results.. The only atty that will work with my 6v cup and batteries is an HV atty. Is there some kind of circuit stopping it from working on regular atties?

Other than that and the slight discoloration between different parts (not horrible) I love this mod from my first impressions. Can anyone help? :)

EDIT: Also, The website says "The Universal Battery Charger (provided with the Indulgence Manual STARTER KIT) is suitable for 3v 16340 (CR123A) batteries, The battery has PCB to protect itself when it is fully charged"

But I was informed that it kills the batteries faster charging 3v batteries on a 3.7v charger. Any suggestions? If you can use that charger, do you charge them one at a time? I thought it was unsafe to charge them seperately.

I agree the Indulgence is an excellent mod,
and an excellent first mod,
it allows people to use all the attys available
and find what you love best
with out having to buy up 5 different kits.

and for all that -- you can't beat the price.

thats really is strange with the attys, ---
I am dying to hear what the guys have to say about this -----

you can PM to Me or to Mudmanc4 - here on forum

we will love to hear your suggestion.

Not sure what could be causing the problem. The regular 510 atty works fine on mine @ 6v, but I don't use that combination. If you're using a 2.2 ohm atty and your 3v batteries are freshly charged to 3.6v, the power consumption could be over 3 amps. I personally do not think the switch is built to handle that much power. Without specifications, I can only go on my impression.

My Titanium doesn't match either but the Silver does.

The lack of a dedicated charger concerns me too, so I bought a Tenergy charger & batts. Just be sure to get 3 volt batts (not 3.7).

4 Pack RCR123A 3V 900mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery with Smart Charger

The best combination I have found is the new LR attys and AW 18650 LiMN battery.

AW 18650 Protected 2600 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery - New Version

It fits in the large cup if you add a few spacers

DealExtreme: $3.82 Super Strong Rare-Earth RE Magnets (18mm x 2mm / 10-Pack)

Eastmall should have the LR attys available soon I hope they get in all 3 (510, 901 & 801). It should be fun. And we can use all three with the same mod. How cool is that?

K will do. Anyone have an answer to my question about the charger too?

sorry I dont have any 3volts battery --

but the tr001 charger has written on it 16340 --
so the size is acceptable, but I am not sure of compatability,
have to ask someone with more battery savvy ----

and this - tr001 - is what I use to charge all my batteries.

there are several posts in here about what chargers people use for the 3volts batteries.

This one is popular ----

I have no issue with running stock atties at 6v.
might be in the new design not sure.
Also I have to modify my adapters to work with 801 & Cut the black metal off my 801 atty.
since the connector spins & is too short.
for the 808 Its too short & doesn't get good connection.

Otherwise I love my indulgence even if the titanium is 3 different shades.
extender tube & pt is totally different shades.
the cap is wearing the paint easily.
wish it had 4 caps with adapters in it. to make it easier on changing on the go.
I have lost these small adapters many times.

& they require a notch in them to keep from spinning.
But IM done giving idea's to fix until I get credit or Compensation LOL

yes i noticed as well that the extended cups arent the same exact titanium color but its close enough so its no biggie, also i have had no issues charging all the batteries with the charger provided in any way.

most people do use the charger supplied, but others prefer to go get something else

their choice

no biggie.

I am having the same problem with my attys - they do not work with the extender cup, but work just fine at 3.7v.

Mine came with a "high voltage" 510 atty - this works just fine with the extender cup, but when I put on a regular 510 or 901, it doesn't work. If I switch back to 3.7v, they work fine.

Mine is also a gold indulgence. What is going wrong here?

good im not the only one. Like I said, someone thats selling these told me they had the same problem. I put in 2 3.7v batteries, and got my 901's working but dont dare use it at that high, but standard 510 still doesnt work.. and none of the standard atties work at 6v.. is there some kind of protection circuit you guys added?

Anyone having any issues with this device, please email me at eastmallcs@gmail.com , and we'll sort it out.

Although I cannot understand at this point at least, what the issue could possibly be, as it is the first i have heard of it, none the less, we'll get it straightened out, even if we get you another entire device .

thanks, rick

Also the Tenergy 3.0v 900 AND 750mAH Batts work wonderful and much better in my opinion in this unt, again if your using a standard Atty of any kind at 6v you will bliw them right away most likely and I still dont see anyone saying they are using HV Atty's at 6v or 7.2 or 7.4 woth 2 x 3.6 or 2x 3.7 must have HV Atty's without a doubt here

The biggest issue I have is this unit was advertised as coming with 4 or 5 different solid top pieces not these little inserts that came with mine unless I missed the posted change and this I dont like, I like the original with all the different top caps

Ok well I use almost predominantly standard atomizers with the two of the liFepos4 16340's that come with the HV kit, and have not blown a one atomizer as of yet. As well as cartomizers.

The 18350 3.7's will not fit deep enough into the extended tube to allow the switch to be screwed on , without spring modification anyhow lol. And I have accomplished this , and I still dont blow the standard atomizers. Yes, I drown them with vaping liquid, and never use stuffing in the carts.

So I am not sure what your missing.

As for the endcaps, people complained about the initial solids, so we redesigned them to have the inserts, this was roughly one month or more ago. I'm not sure if there are any left, but if you like, I can inquire about it for you gladly.
