Hi Guys, here is a quick update on what is going on with Drew. Four weeks ago Drew was admitted to the hospital with a bad case of Colitis. In treatment for his colitis he was put on a clear liquid diet. He did not eat a solid meal for 3 weeks. He was very potassium deficient and mal absorbed. 2 weeks into treatment they speculate because he was lying in bed, he formed a blood clot that traveled to his brain and caused him to have a mini stroke. The stroke is not a bleeding stroke. His left side is a bit affected, but we are hopeful that physical therapy will assist in full recuperation. All of the other tests for his brain, heart, lungs etc. look good! Drew was released from the hospital yesterday. He is getting back on track at home now. His colitis is slowly but surely improving. He is making great strides toward a full recovery. Thank you for all of the inquiries, prayers and words of encouragement. We really appreciate it! We will keep you posted.
