Dear ECF Friends,

We are excited to introduce the new ProVari 3

This will be the official forum for news as it happens.

Now, before we get started we know you have a lot of questions and we will do our best to answer what we can as we go.

When will the device be available?

A: We don't have a date set yet. Right now we are going to do a roll out to our dealers for a beta period. We have already done lots of testing in house and everything is working great, we just want to allow our resellers the first chance to try it out and provide feedback. Our dealers will be the first to offer the P3 for sale, but it will also be on our website at some point, so this is not going to be a dealer only product forever :)

Q: How much will it cost?

A: We don't have a price set yet. It's TBD. Once we have this information we will let you know.

Q: What comes included with the standard kit?

A: The P3 comes with the device itself and two extension rings to allow all three battery sizes to be used. The first release will be available in satin silver only. More colors will be available soon.

Q: Why does the device not go to 30, 40, 50+ watts and down to lower ohms?

A: The engineers at ProVape believe that this is the limit that they can be assured is safe for Vaping. Safety is of paramount importance to ProVape. Our market is mainstream Vaping. ProVape's mission has always been to provide systems that are effective alternatives to analog cigarettes. We are confident that the voltage/wattage limits give our customers the means to do exactly that.

Within the parameters of the ohms and wattage ratios within the P3, it is entirely possible to produce significant clouds of vapor if that is what the customer is wanting to do.

Q: Can I upgrade my V2.5 to a V3 - This is a completely different system and build, and we are not able to do upgrades from the original ProVari to the new one.

We will do our best to answer additional questions as we go, if we have the information available.

Quick question; got this from another forumer here. Super glad there's an adjusting 510 connection. However I was wondering if you guys have considered if that means that eliquid can now travel into the mod? Couple that with the fact that you guys are using OLED display now, which aren't the most water-loving displays.

ETA: also another question. I think at this point we've come to expect the indestructible construction of the provari. Do you guys think that using OLED display significantly increases the chances of failure, especially compared to the good ole LED?

1.) Maybe I'm just easily entertained, but I think that 7-color button is the coolest feature of them all! :D

2.) I'm sure ProVape has their reasons, but I'm not a fan of the "dealer-only" thing for 1st release.. (Speaking of which, please offer the non-blem full-size Dragon w/ blue LED at your website ASAP!)

3.) What is this business that nothing will change with the V2.5 -- "yet"?

4.) Congrats on the P3!

Hi Kiwi,

Good questions. The 510 connection we came up with on the P3 is water tight. We have done extensive testing and nothing has gotten past the seal. We also did some cinnamon liquid testing which is considered some of the more acidic fluid and likes to eat stuff. A-OK.

The OLED display is sealed and we have also done a lot of fluid testing directly on the display and its holding up like a champ.

On the OLED, we have done a lot of testing and not had any issues. Part of the long delay in releasing the P3 was to do more testing than we have on anything previously released.

Disrespect to not have it online at the start, there's no B&M for hours near me, I might have to reconsider buying it. No appreciation for online customers it seems

Hi Richard,

Let me clarify the plans. The device is currently still in Beta and we are rolling it out to our dealers first, so they can do further testing and provide us with feedback. While the dealers will be first to offer it when it comes out of beta, we will be also rolling it out on our website a short time later. It's not meant to be disrespect towards our customers, so I hope you don't feel that way for too long. :)

OH last couple of questions (promise it'll be the last. For a while. Maybe.)

When it does become available on the website, any clue on the availability side of things? Specifically in terms of whether provape has sufficient stocks or are we looking at the typical out of stock for weeks kinda deal (casts dirty looks at all the damned DNA30 devices).

Also!

What's the expected ETA of the colored provaris wrt the initial launch of the satin silver? Will the colored p3 still be using the same cerakote?
