:)
recently got the eGo ONE tank series (by joyetech)
have been looking around to read some about them, but not much out there,
so I thought why not see what others have to say/think about them…

just thought I’d give them some love…

what drew me to this series of tanks is the price/size (size/price)
the features are pretty typical – removable drip tip; air flow control; glass; bottom fill

they come in a plethora of choices and configurations

diameter-capacity (mm-ml)
16-1.8 {mini}
19-1.8 {standard}
19-2.5 {XL}
22-4.0 {mega}

available coils
•.5Ω/cotton (vertical & horizontal) (CLR)
•1.0Ω/cotton (vertical & horizontal) (CLR)
•.4Ω / Titanium / cotton
•.2Ω / Ni200 / cotton
•.5Ω / Titanium / cotton (CLR)

I like to put all my eggs in one basket
I DON’T like to have several different devices all over
find something, perfect it, and stick to it…
so I chose these little tanks and I am in the process of making them high-performance

after being at this (vaping) just passing two years, what I am converting from
is the kanger bcc (single bottom coil) – the EVODs and SMOK RBC have been my ‘go to’
building cotton coils @ 1.2-1.6Ω in the bcc’s have been working out pretty well for me

I LOVE THE DESIGN of single horizontal coils
simple, durable, reliable, does not over stress the battery

now I am trying to apply the same to the eGo ONE tank system

the eGo Ones are cousins to the eLeaf GS air tanks, I really like both (just better coils)

an eLeaf TC40 with a 19-1.8 tank on it, is a sexy little vape device IMO :D

so wondering what the other peeps think of the eGo ONE tanks…

:tumble:

I like my ego one mega! I use when I'm out and about and don't want the stares I get with a big box mod haha.

I run a 1.0 ohm CLR head with 0.6 ohm coil and it great for MTL and semi lung hits... great little tank if you're not all about straight up lung hits, which I'm not :)

very cool

so you're using the CLR 1.0Ω (small hole)
and building a .6Ω coil in it ?

for me, the large hole in the .5Ω coils are sorta to much...
so what I have been experimenting with is,
building a LARGE diameter coil attempting to block some of the air passage
28g & 30g wire around a 3.0mm mandrel and stuff with cotton...
still too much air, will try again with a 3.5mm diameter soon

:)

* wish there was a place to buy CLR parts, like Lightning Vapes has for Kanger coils

yup, i'm using the 1.0 ohm CLR head and building it down to 0.6 ... 1.0 ohm is a bit high for me I like it a bit warmer ;)

eGo One tanks w/ CLR coils (4.ml, 2.5ml, 1.8ml)

well I thought I was going to post A LOT of opinion in here by now
about the eGo One tanks, but life gets in the way, don’t cha know…

I’ve built some 1.1Ω -1.6Ω coils
2.5mm & 3.0mm ID - stuff’d with JOC (cotton)
and have been using them non stop with out issue...

I am growing fond and familiar with these little tanks
they have been very consistant & efficient for me...

also have been sampling TC (temp control)
I’m just not pleased with it, at this time (yet)

I am shooting for a constant Ω coil that will work for me across the board
28g, 30g, 31g (Kan/NiC80/Ti)
5-8 wraps around a 3.0mm shaft (mandrel)

recently bought some ‘stock’ CLR 1.0Ω coils
(stocking up my private inventory)
didn’t want to just tear them apart; wanted to use them
before I tore them down and rebuild them...
WOW ! , they are pretty bad-funky taste, gurgle :(
maybe I will, just tear the factory build out of them…

The ijust 2 kit out performs the ego one and costs a little more then half the price, you can rebuild the stock coils, buy anyvapes segatank clr v2 which is also compatible with the aspire series or wait until the end of the month when eleaf releases its own clr head. The ego one spits every so often, leaks every so often but mostly the ijust 2 kit out performs it in clouds and taste!

I'm hitting on a 3000mAh Venti with a eGo One .7 Ohm NiChrome CLR head right now. The Flavor is Very Good.

I like the Size of the 19mm 2.5ml eGo One atomizer. My Only complaint is with Clear e-Liquids, it is Hard to see the e-Liquid level thru the Tank Windows.

Does Anyone know of any Other Tanks that you can use the eGo One heads in?

I know that the Vamo One uses them. And I thought someone mentioned a couple of Others?

Sorry to burSt any bubbles. But the tank is NOT glass.

Joyetech used some cunning words to sell these... i.e. "organic glass"

It is plastic. As is the "organic glass" mouthpeice they sell with the full kit.

I loved the concept of the ego one as its basicaly a subohm protank(using the clr coils), but I've had nothing but problems with every version/revision.

The new egrip cl uses the ego one coils.
But the grommets supplied to seal the coils do not fit well into the tops of the clr without modification(using drill to remove pressfit "chimney" out of the top of clr cap)

I've been "eye'in" those Venti's

3000mah / 5.8ml / USB / CLR coils / 30mm (26650-ish)

very interesting o_O

not heard of another using CLR (besides eGrip)

Yeah... The Venti is a Cool Mod.

Great Built Quality. And a Rock Solid Feel. At 30mm, it Cracks me Up looking at it. Kinda Stumpy. LOL

All 4 of mine are plastic, as well as the "organic glass" driptips sent with the kits.

All 4 kits were bought within the week they were first released, so maybe they changed materials? Doubt it tho.

The OEM site still states "organic glass" for the tanks and mouth peices.

I should have took a picture last night before I threw the tank out. I went to review a new diy flavor, and it ended up melting my tank. If it was glass as stated, it wouldn't have melted :(

have not heard/read tank glass was 'plastic'
but believe as you said, 'cause that drip tip IS NOT glass :sneaky:
