I was told that theses new soft bottles will fit in the Mini 2.1- is this true? If so that will be a game changer for me.
not as far as I can tell, not enough room side to side for the bottle and the battery.

In other news, I found out my leaking was NOT from the bottle, it was the Oring I had under the atty, it was the wrong size. I knew it was too thick, but it was the only size I had. took it off and almost all the leaking has stopped. Just a tad on the delrin cover and top of door, but no more puddles under the bottle.

FWIW, I'm running these in all seven of the mods in my current rotation and none of them leak.
Me, too. I'm not using seven of them....but I'm using four right now and I have no leaks. I have found that if I pay attention when I screw the cap on each time, I have zero leaks. I am having a wonderful experience with these bottles. I absolutely love them.

Well, for what's it's worth, I've run 8 or 9 of these bottles with nary a leak. Fortune favours a fool, I suppose.

If I don't seal the cap exactly right when refilling, there's no squonkage - air just escapes. It's binary for me - get it right and it's perfect; get it wrong and no juice travels (well, it does, but not with a typical squeeze, and I suppose it would leak if I persisted).

If I don't hear a good slurp sound after a refill and a squonk I know it's not sealed right.

All of this leads me to wonder if there have been any design changes, worn dies or changes in plastic composition. Mine, as do many, do not leak, seat easy and never did have any problem; others, who are experienced people, have incurable problems.

I don't know if there might be differences in "batches" or runs, but I do know that I got bottles from two different people at two different times, and they all work the same. Rudy (thank you, Rudy!!!) sent me three to try out, then a few weeks later I got some through Rossum's co-op (thank you for running that!) and they all look the same and work the same.....and they don't leak for me.

I know there different as the only way I can get 3 out of 4 to seal is with an oring. Either with the cutting of the ss cap or not enough plastic used in the mold..

Love to show a video of it but right now my house is upside down swaping tvs around and adding 2 new tvs.. fun fun. Just carried a huge 82" dlp 2 flights down to the basement with turns on ea set of stairs with my old man at 71 years old! Tv weighs 135lbs but it's huge an akward to hold and was a bish.. spent hours trying g to take it apart and putting it back together after that failed attempt to gut it to make it easier.. said screw it and away we were going down hehe. New set coming tomorrow lg 65" oled! Can't wait!

I finally had a tiny little leak in one of my bottles the other day, I wiped it down, and made sure it was tight and have had no more problems with that one. My other Reo did the same thing the next day, this time when I gave it a little tighten, I found it was a little loose...I'll chalk that one up to "user error".

I love the slurp sound.
Jup, that's music to a squonker's ears!!

No further problems since I removed that oring that was too large from under the atty. I really thought it was the bottle, since there was no leaking on top of the Reo, very little down the inside back behind the bottle, but the bottle was wet and a puddle under the bottle. But apparently it wasn't the bottle at all

Have installed 9 of them... had a small issue with one but found the little flake of extra plastic and removed it... all nine rock big time! None of mine leak unless I don't put the cap on right... I have them taped now. Love the bottles!
