Delrin insert screw

I've got a quick question about the REO grand. I know that I need to be careful to not strip the hole that the screw goes into, that holds the delrin insert in place. My question is, does the screw go above or below the positive contact bar when I'm putting it back together?

the one time I took mine off it just sorta went right back in, but I didn't remove the + contact.
