Throat Hit Black Pepper

Ground black pepper is steeped in PGA.
The extract is mixed w/ VG.
Mixed strong it can be vaped like a pipe to get a good mouth/nose hit and good flavor; don't inhale.
Mixed medium it will produce nice flavor and course TH; careful if inhale.
Mixed mild it produces a very nice flavor and interesting TH.

Fun to play w/ this one.

I inhaled a little of the strong; makes me cough. Same as cough from breathing steam coming off a cooking spicy stir fry.

Just don't want anybody to mix a hot batch and overdo it.

I love this one but I also love black pepper and hot peppers with food.

Can't imagine a problem if start at 0.01% and work up slowly.

Sometimes black pepper TH feels like nic TH; I think this has good potential for zero vape.

Black pepper TH is much smoother if inhaled very slow w/ lips almost closed.
When inhaling allow some air to come through nose.
Makes a huge difference; don't know why.

recipe:
25% VG and 75% PG.
Add black pepper extract to power level of 12mg nic.

Works well on dual coil carto.

Not good as nic of course.

DIY black pepper extract is the best thing I've found since nic.

Sometimes I prefer Black pepper over nic because it is so complex.

A newbie would not control it right and cough...once you get the hang of it it is very nice.

It really is fun to play w/ mixed strong in e-pipe...just let it tease nose and throat w/o inhale.

Can add flavors to taste.

Does the pepper dissolve in the PGA or do you have to strain it somehow? I am a newb.

I need to get to the local spice shop and get some Royal Pepper and try this. Thanks for the tip.

Anytime you tincture an organic you should starin the result to remove the chunks. You could use a coffee filter or cheesecloth to filter out the chunks.

Thanks ... that led me to several articles on tincture. I learn so much on this forum.

I put ground black pepper and pga in bottle and shake.
Let it steep overnight.
Remove the head w/ dropper.
I don't filter because it is already clear.
I used DIY black pepper extract for two weeks in dual coil carto w/o issue.
Takes some practice but I'm getting an enjoyable TH.
Great substitute for nic.

For me its the pepper taste I'm after. I will mix it very lightly. Anxious to try it tomorrow.

Just wanted to update. I really like this. Great pepper taste. I ground up some royal pepper and let it steep.

Will be a great addition to my unflavored (making them not quite so unflavored) and tobacco recipes.

Can vodka be substituted for PGA? - the only PGA available in Quebec costs $60 a bottle

I expect the black pepper oils will be soluble in vodka and vodka will be fine for extracting the oils.

Takes a long time to vape 5 ml black pepper extract; 1 oz vodka should go a long way.

I wish I could try this. I have a reaction to black pepper when I eat it, so vaping is more than likely a no no.
